yes you can take the meds from Dubai.
Once MR request comes, you will have a unique IME number assigned to self.
Simply take that form to any fo eMedical service providers as per the accepted list of CIC and get your meds done.
When they update the eMeds against your IME it will by default be recorded against the primary applicants file.

Also, as you said 6 month's assignment. Be mindful that if you are out for more that 6 months in a country, you needs a PCC from there. So you may want to get one before you leave the place.

Experts! Need your quick advice as I am in a bit tricky situation

My wife has applied under NOC 0112 and I am the dependent .We are waiting for MR request but in the meantime my company is sending me to dubai for an onsite assignment of 6 months.

Doubt - When we recieve the MR request,Can I as a dependent go ahead with the Medicals from a CIC panel physician in dubai or do I have to come back to India for completing my medicals?

If yes, then what process I have to follow in dubai so that my medical results gets clubbed with my wife file?

Need your kind advise please. my app under noc 0111 reached cic on 11 sept. since I am not charged until now, I double checked application and noticed that there was a mistake in my fee payment form where I did not sign in the cardholder signature area. I really think this is the reason I did not get charged and I have not received my application back either.

I received MR and RPRF request on 10th Feb 2015.

In the email NDVO had asked us to additionally submit all PCCs from UK (since my wife had lived there for 1 year in last 10 years), USA (since I had lived there for 2 years in the last 10 years) and all countries where we had lived for more than 6 months in the last 10 years. I was also asked to re-submit SCHEDULE A form for myself.

I completed all the actions I could by 14th Feb 2015, summarized as under:

1. I told NDVO via CSE that "My wife is pregnant and we are expecting our child in next few weeks. So, RPRF fees should be submitted now or shall we wait for additional documents of the new member to be added to our application first and then complete our medicals and pay RPRF for the entire family in one go?"

2. I also asked NDVO that "When the child is born, I understand I am supposed to submit new set of documents and application fees pertaining to the new family member. If you can share a checklist for additional documents needed for the child, it would be greatly appreciated."

This is fine- after a few days in case you receive no reply-write the same thing but this time email them as a reply marking 'Urgent' to the original MR request mail you received. Medicals will be paused for you and your wife until your wife's birth- so request them for a Medicals extension date specifically
3. I re-filled SCHEDULE A form addressing the specific points raised by NDVO, took a print and signed it. I sent to NDVO a scanned copy of signed SCHEDULE A form attaching it with the CSE. Then I sent the original signed SCHEDULE A form via speed post to NDVO at their Delhi address. In my CSE I also mentioned the speed post tracking number and tracking website.
This is fine- out of curiosity what was the problem in your original SCHEDULE A Form?
4. UK Police PCC for my wife: I submitted the application as per guidance provided on CIC website. The PCC application reached UK on 16th Feb and I am expecting the certificate back within next 20 days. I sent NDVO a scanned copy of UK Police PCC application confirming my up-front action and telling them that it will be submitted on time.
This is fine, not reqd really...As long as u provide the UK PCC within time
5. FBI PCC for myself: I submitted the application as per guidance provided on CIC website. The PCC application will reach USA on 19th Feb. Likewise, I sent NDVO a scanned copy of FBI PCC application confirming my up-front action. I also told NDVO in my CSE that FBI's website says it will take maximum 16 weeks plus delivery time for the PCC to reach me so please grant me that much extension to submit FBI PCC.
This is fine- ideally you should have applied for FBI PCC b4....However, not to worry, NDVO will give extension for FBI PCC...Now note this point- NDVO will only provide an extension for ur FBI PCC- that does not mean you can delay sending the other docs, they should all be delivered within time
6. India PCC for me and my wife: When I submitted the application in July 2014 I submitted India PCCs, signed and stamped by DCP (which satisfies CIC requirement for a non punjab indian resident). I told the same to NDVO in my CSE and re-attached scanned copies of earlier submitted India PCCs for their reference.
Disagree, y did NDVO ask ur Indian PCC again then? Does the MR letter specifically mention they require Indian PCC for u and ur wife? If yes, then that means they r not satisfied with ur original PCC on file..Figure out why- for ex, is ur PCC expired? In either case, be prepared to start the process for a fresh PCC



That's all I thought was in my control in addressing the NDVO requirements mentioned in their MR email. Now I have the following few concerns for which I have my fingers crossed and am assuming will be addressed by NDVO:



a) Considering my wife's pregnancy and new family member's addition, my MR will be put on hold till I submit all documentation pertaining to the new born applicant/family member.

b) There is also a relevant clause that all applicants need to secure PR cards within 1 year of appearing for MR tests. This is also a reason why ideally me and my wife should not appear for MR now and wait till all 3 family members are ready for it.
This is fine, Medicals will be on hold at least until ur Wife's birth, congrats on the upcoming newborn btw ..The important thing is for NDVO to acknowledge and confirm the extension of ur Medicals date
c) On my FBI PCC, I agree I have made a mistake of not having these PCCs made earlier. But this FBI 16 week delay came as a surprise to me. I really hope that NDVO will see it as a genuine problem and will give me at-least 16-17 week extension. That's precisely the reason that I shared scanned copies of the application for them to see my upfront actions.[/b]

WILL NDVO BE KIND ENOUGH TO INFORM ME THAT THEY HAVE REGISTERED ALL MY UPDATES AND HAVE PUT MY APPLICATION ON HOLD TILL I SUBMIT MY CHILD'S DOCUMENTATION, APPLICATION FEES AND TILL I RECEIVE AND SUBMIT MY FBI PCC?
NDVO will grant an extension for ur FBI PCC- but this is INDEPENDENT of ur other docs request. However, yes due to updates in family, ur file will be paused and you should be granted an extension of ur Medicals. Be prepared to pay RPRF Fees and submit the other requested PCCs within the existing deadline though. Then when you get FBI PCC be prepared to submit it immediately. After ur newborn's birth, I suppose you have to complete Medicals for urself and ur wife (this will depend on NDVO's extension dates) and apply for expedited processing of his/her passport (details below)

Now for ur reference, I'd like to post about a fellow forumite TangoCharlie1234, his case is slightly different as he got MR request just after his newborn was born (he had not informed VO abt it), so he completed MR for himself and his wife plus got the newborn's passport on expedited processing and while sending the docs, he directly posted the following->
Request letter duly signed by applicant to add your child in your file
· Notarized copy of the child's birth certificate
· Copy of your child's valid passport including blank pages
· 04 Passport size photographs of your dependent child
· Visa processing fee for CAD$ 150/- in favor of Receiver General for Canada payable at Toronto
· Updated Proof of funds for 03 family members (i.e. CAD$ 18,097)
· Updated Generic form and Additional Family Information Form including the details of your child.

They added all the details to his file, once they open it tey had all the details and within a few days they sent newborns MR request to him. (as infants do not need to submit PCC or RPRF).

MR / PCC / RPRF is standard and you and your dependants.

You can pay RPRF online though the link shared on you MR mail. Inceyou pay the fees, you will get a acknowledgement letter, print and pen down you UCI, address and other blank details and send to VO.
You can also pay by draft (mention UCI at the back of it) and get the payable details and right INR amount by visiting the second link on you MR letter.

All asked docs needs to be mailed (Registered post/courier) to the VO.
The letter would have also provided the NDVO mailing address.

I have taken doctors appointment where the hospital staff has told me that they will be sending my reports directly to office.
Now, RPRF, How can i pay that , i have seen the link to pay online but there is no form i can see to fill what i am paying for.
Do i need to pay through bank draft and give the requested letter to high commission in person by just dropping in ?
Or What should i do to take this request forward and what would be the next step if any one can help me with?

Ok, so you need to get your parents there, here are the options

1. you get them tourist visa and the validity is to live for 6months on a stretch and then leave border and can come back after a day for next 6months. To get this visa you need to apply for them couple of months before their travel. I suggest apply for this visa once you get MR request. this way by the time you are ready to fly, their visa will be in hand and can travel per your plan

2. apply for super visa, this is another way to getting parents. But for that you need to show some income for 1 year and then only file it. on super visa your parents can stay for 2 years on a stretch.

3. when ever PR for parents open up by CIC, apply it.

Nice advise.
Since very long, I have a doubt on crossing the boarder on tourist visa.
Where they can go and come back for satisfying the condition crossing the border, I guess US will not allow them to enter. and coming back to india is not the practical solution. Please guide me.
