But have you received your PER email already right? There was one member here, reported the same case with you. Afterwhich, he just tried to key-in his name with surname on his ecas. Then it went through..

So, there is a possibility that there were changes in your ecas log in format.

yes i hav rec my per also my aor. I tried every way to log in but.... can someone send me the email adddress to contact cic.

No, I don't think so.
that is for supplementary information related to travel. Background info is address and personal history where you have stayed a long time.

If you travel 10 country for business purpose then it comes under travel information not under background declaration.

dear friend,

can you check your file and let me know when did they complete your criminality and security and how long did it take.
it would be helpful for me as both of the fields are pending for me

I could also tick a couple off that list, maybe that's why CIC are talking so long to process my app :(

Guys, come on, it's not that bad....I'm from Jamaica, and the new policies by CHC is not an issue...finger printing is part of getting a police record certificate anyway. FYI, applicants from Jamaica is processed within a reasonable time frame (5 months to 8 months). So I don't think any delay in your respective files have anything to do with your travels to any of these so-called "high risk" county.

Greetings Thanks for response But this update is dated 27-Nov 2014 Does that mean file has moved since then?

Expected. lot of pending cases and they were busy handling previous years application. so your file was just lying there.
Good to see that they finish it faster . I am sure the delay between medical and passport request eventually comes down.
if you observe the spreadsheet, people were getting passport request in 220 days earlier from NDVO.
Unfortunately we were not the lucky one but we are going to be from now onwards

I am clutching at straws as trying to work out why my PR is delayed
