Could someone shed some light?

We received our medical request on the 5 Feb 2015, On my husbands medical form (he is the main applicant) it has a mistake. On the form it has his place of birth as ABC but he was born in XYZ - although he has dual citizenship of both ABC and XYZ - can we go ahead and do the medical test and just take both passports with or will I need to get that corrected on the form first. On our application form it shows that he was born in XYZ and also has citizenship in ABC....

ALSO We only received our medical request and not RPRF??? is this normal??

I'd raise a CSE and point out the error. I can't think of a reason it should affect the medicals themselves though.

Kindly refer to my timeline on left...I just noticed someone called Laurie.b visited my linkedin profile from ottawa canada....I am wondering if it is related to Fswp background check...I got my per kn 26th nov and I m waiting for my 2nd line update...but my vo is NDVO.......not sure who she is but she found me through linked in search. .....seems its a part of my background check....but why someone from ottawa... : anyway hoping for the best....

It wasn't the easiest time for me but a few members here encouraged me a little.

My timeline

Application received: 18/Sept/2014 (as per PER mail)
CC Charged: 10/Dec/2014
PER Mail: 6/Feb/2014

I am extremely happy because i did the application with no help from anyone. I had not even discovered this site at the time and was clueless on what lead statement or main duties really meant - had not seen samples posted. My duties ended up matching with about 60% and that was with only 1 employer.(I have worked 5 jobs in the last 10 years).

I believe there are those whose PER is taking longer than expected, please hold on - it will come. It is best not to compare your timeline with others as each case is different. As long as one is honest in what they submit and of course has fulfilled all the requirements, you will pass the test.

Congratulations! But somehow I find it weird. I sent my application July 2014 and I just recieved my PER now which I feel took much longer than our European counterparts and even much longer than Americans.

Hi Seniors. I wish to ask people whose second line was updated a month back and still no MR are there from May, June and July as well. Isn't that right? Are those people left out? I mean are their applications rejected or what? some are waiting for more than 2 months after second line with no verification call either. So what could be the reason. Are there cases where MR were sent after 2-3 months of second line update? Please share I am new in this forum and I filed my bother's app and second line updated 2nd of Jan and nothing after for NDVO. ARe tere cases where MR was issued with quite a delay after second line update. No verification been done either..... neither physical nor telephonic.... so advise......plzzzz

Could the EDO stand for "EVALUATION DIVISION"

I was trying to get more information on the following terms in GCMS report

ECU-PA ( Program assistant ) -
Registry - Safe location to store all the docs - (During the intervening period, the mission secured these visas in a room in the registry section where only the FCO, visa printing clerk and the head of the unit had access - Taken from Canada hongkong audit)

DVO- Designated visa officer - Locally sourced officer ( Earlier was called DIO- Based on Audit report)
CBO - Canada Based visa officer - Team Lead for DVO

1. Is there a problem if I, presently, am not working full time in the NOC that I applied under? I am working part time now but was employed for three years full time in the past five years in the same NOC.
2. I have been self employed (part time) in NOC 0121 and have been able to crack two deals for which I can get a letter and a transaction can be shown in my bank account. I have not mentioned this in my history because this happened after the submission of my application. Should I update NDVO myself or should i wait for a correspondence from them? My app is in the 2nd line stage.

I got my MR, PCC & RPRF request on 15 JAN but there was a small error in MR form which i got it from NDVO office. My son's name is mentioned in Family name instead of Given Name. I had replied to the email with all the supporting doucments and also raised query in dmp-portal

Still no reply. What should i do? March 1st is the last date to sumbit MR, PCC and RPRF. Kindly suggest me

Replying to the email won't help. You need to raise a CSE. Even so, they probably won't reply. They never do.

Just go ahead and do the medicals and submit PCC and RPRF. When they contact you again if it's still not corrected you can raise another CSE.

Can anyone please help me. I am called for interview and currently preparing my certificates. My reference which my boss signed for me when I filed my application was Network Specialist. As an update to bring to the interview, I requested certificate of employment from HR and what they had given me is Computer Engineer as my job title. Could anyone help me how to explain these two. Though it has the same job which is to look after our network and computer communication.
Will it hurt my application because of this mismatch?

I'd try to get a new one with a matching job title.
