What is "BGC". I saw this term in two or three posts.

By the way is there a background verification done from New Delhi Office? My VO is Delhi and I am from Hyderabad. If yes how is it happening. Can seniors please comment on this.

Ireceived PER on 31st Dec-2014

Dear sammanne.. Nothing to worry BGC means Background check.. and it shall not be done directly by NDVO.. instead uses third parties to do that regarding your Professional data/ history and the personal data that you had presented in your application. nothing to worry if everything presented by the applicant are correct.

Hi Seniors,
I have been asking my question since yesterday but no one replied yet despite of multiple posts.

I submitted my RPRF draft along with original passports to Singapore Visa Office, but no reply from them. It is one full month now, though in their RPRF & Passport request email they mentioned that it will take one month.

Usually I see that people on this forum got their passports back withing a couple of weeks time. So is there anything to worry about for delay in my case?

Would be really grateful if someone can answer.

Dear have you checked with bank about your rprf demand draft. quite possible the clearance of this rprf draft is the reason behind the delay of your application.

NO MR YET :(

Application Recd. Date: 2nd-July
NOC: 0111
PER: 28-Oct
2nd Line Update: None.. awaiting :(
MR & RPRF Mail: None.. awaiting :(

All i know is that my file has been transferred to NDVO. In early Oct I sent an email to CIC NS Sydney asking for the status of my application. To which they replied in mid Dec14 saying "your file has been transferred to Delhi and CIC NS Sydney cannot make any more comments". Needless to say in between this wait period I had received PER.

What to do?

Stay Cool, Calm, Chill, Happy, Positive, Enjoy, most importantly Help Others and Wait Patiently. :) :) :)

Soon you ll get MR.... Good Luck

COPR is sent along with the Passport.

If the applicant has chosen VFS as mode of Passport Transmission and selected courier services as dispatch method. Then they will receive Visa Stamped Passports and COPR will be sent through courier.

If the applicant has chosen VFS as mode of Passport Transmission and wishes to collect Passport himself from VFS Center. They will receive a notification that their Passport is ready for collection. They can visit the VFS Center and collect the Passports along with CoPR.

  • To collect passports for dependents. The person who is collecting the Passport from VFS Center should submit an authorization letter from the dependents authorizing them to collect the PP on their Behalf

If the applicant has sent the Passports through Normal Courier services. They will returned to applicants after Visa Stamping along with CoPR through Speed Post

Hope this helps

This is for NDVO

Thanks sk1984indian for providing this information

Sorry guys,

My questions may be silly, but expecting some help

Can any one please share me the address to which i need to send receipt of RPRF fee (which I am planning to pay through Credit Card), PCC ?

Refer to http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/offices-bureaux/new_delhi.aspx?lang=eng

Check with Blue dart if they can deliver to

Immigration Section
Canadian High Commission
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri
P.O. Box 5209
New Delhi, 110 021
India

If they say they cannot deliver to P.O Box. Remove the P.O. Box and send it. It will received by the CHC

Immigration Section
Canadian High Commission
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri
New Delhi 110 021, India

My 3rd line got updated, Do I need to send MR proof ? No, if your eCAS shows Medicals received

Also, please share me the sample cover letter to NDVO for sending my updated passports (As my old one got slightly damaged) ? Refer to sam

If I want to pay DD, then DD to be taken in favour of ?? - The bank draft should be made for the exact amount (Rs.26,700 per Dependent above 18 years) and it should be in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi. Refer to http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng

Thanks in advance

Post your medicals get the following documents;

• Request letter (*this is the one which you get to provide list of documents from CIO NDVO.)
• New Passport bio pages with attestation

Question for NDVO guys.
CAn I submit my passport through Speedpost instead go to VFS, as I'm staying in vadodara and just to submit passport I'll have to travel to Ahemadabad.
If I can send through Speedpost, What's the procedure to get it back to my place?
Also, If I submit passport to VFS, do I need to go there again to collect my passport back?
Please advice.
