Salary or the slips should not be an issue but if you're called for an interview they might ask you that you are a skilled employee how come you are getting salary so low compared to national and international standards ( saying this out of a close friends experience who did get the PR by the way) ...

verification is happening for 1 in 3 applicants (if you are following this blog there was a comprehensive analysis done by a brother)

On site verification is random and rare but if your info is genuine then you should have nothing to worry.....

WHAT IS YOUR NOC by the way....?

Even my wife and was paid on cash.. She is the main applicant ! But then in her feild there is no such competitive salary .. She was paid 8000 INR.. Psychologists in India are paid less for some weird reason ! Hopefully interview is waived for us

Getting charged is a positive thing. congrats on that but try to stay positive and encouraged by that fact. There is a possibility but it is extremely rare occurrence.

I m bit confused..
I was refused US visitor visa in 2007 and 2008 but by mistake I didn't mention it in the application.
What should I do now..
When it is better to tell NDVO about it.I got PER on 8 Jan.
Will it delay my process ?
Is it better to remain silent or I have to inform NDVO ?
Please help..

As part of the security check they will get in touch with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and learn about it either way. So wait three weeks since 'PER' and send them an email attaching a revised Schedule A.

What documents are to be attached in a CSE to LVO about new employer? other than Offer letter and pay slips
Do i need to send reference letter from new employer as well and experience letter from previous employer ?
new job does not match NOC i have applied for, will it be a problem ?

Actually, you don't need to attach any proof of employment with a new company as you are not claiming points on that basis. A simple FYI letter would suffice. It will have absolutely NO negative effect on your file.

Looks like I am the unlucky one who hasn't received the PER and not even any updates from CIC on my application.

My application was received by CIC on August 20 for NOC 2171. My credit card was also charged in this regard on November 11. Since then I didn't receive any communication from CIC on this. I have tried calling CIC multiple times, but didn't get any reply back neither did I receive any response to my emails (which I started writing 2-3 weeks back).

I wanted to ask you friends what should I do here onwards to get status of my application. Let me know if I still have a chance to get PER.

They take 60 days to reply to your query. If your query had all your application details to trace your app you will get a status update by the end of February. Also you may want to send a CSE to your VO in case you missed your PER letter. They reply much faster (~20-30 days).
