TB still leaves some scars on the lungs, so after chest x-ray he will likely be redirected to give sputum test, which will delay processing for a couple of months.

Hi Friends,

Looks like I am the unlucky one who hasn't received the PER and not even any updates from CIC on my application.

My application was received by CIC on August 20 for NOC 2171. My credit card was also charged in this regard on November 11. Since then I didn't receive any communication from CIC on this. I have tried calling CIC multiple times, but didn't get any reply back neither did I receive any response to my emails (which I started writing 2-3 weeks back).

I wanted to ask you friends what should I do here onwards to get status of my application. Let me know if I still have a chance to get PER.

No news is good new (sometimes) rite them a mail, if you already have then pls wait...average reply time is 50 days.....just hang in there and try to stay positive....do some keerat and have a positive mindset... (law of attraction works....I don't kno what to say here.... I know waiting is th hrdest part... Hope CIC replies the mail soon

They take 60 days to reply to your query. If your query had all your application details to trace your app you will get a status update by the end of February. Also you may want to send a CSE to your VO in case you missed your PER letter. They reply much faster (~20-30 days).

Hi Gurjeet, same happened to me . . . . didn't got reply from CIC . . . . but they replied me within 15 days (or maybe 1 week) . . . so I would suggest email them . . . . Infact I emailed them 2 - 3 times and they responded 2 -3 times to my query . . . . . So if they have taken out money, I believe you are in safe hands . . . . . . . Don't worry, I am confident that you have got PER and by mistake it is either deleted or is in ur spam folder....

Second applicant can't land first.

Thank you for the positive remarks and information. I started mailing them about 3 weeks back and have done that about 3-4 times. May be the holidays season would have contributed to the delay so far. Today as per advice on this forum, I have also put case specific enquiry. Based upon reply from folks like you, I am still keeping my hopes alive.

Though on the contrary, I am also thinking if Canada immigration government would grab my money without giving my any response .
