They don't have your file yet. I suggested sending it in 3 weeks from 'PER' date and this recommendation stands.vin19 said:Should I send it with Medical or its better to send it now.

Nice analysis. It indeed takes 10 days for PP turn-around-time with that office in general.cincikid said:Folks, I made a quick analysis of how long it was taking from the time a person sent their passports to CPP-Ottawa to passport return. This is based on a small sample of 20 observations (people who got their visas thus far). The mean number of days to receive a passport from the moment it was sent is 15, and the standard deviation is 8.6. This means that for 95% of people it took anywhere from 11 to 19 days to receive their passports back.
Median (50th percentile, or the most frequent return time-frame) was 12.5 days, 75% of folks got their passports back within 20 days, 90%--within 29.5 days and 99% within 32 days.

Hi,Diplomatru said:They take 60 days to reply to your query. If your query had all your application details to trace your app you will get a status update by the end of February. Also you may want to send a CSE to your VO in case you missed your PER letter. They reply much faster (~20-30 days).
Yes, do a simple google search to find their email id or web-form (CSE). Good luck!gurjeetsingh11 said:Hi,

Canadian immigration cannot keep things simple even at the very end of the visa journey, right?cincikid said:I am based in the US and it was quite a hassle to get the XpressPost with the US credit card. It took me a good hour to figure out the drill. I posted on this above.
Hi prishad,prishad said:Hi Diplomatru,
my ECAS status shows as In process - We received your aplication.... so should i take it as a PER.? is this a first line update.?.
Also i wanted to ask are PER emails automated and have set dates according to application date like in a series.. ?
Well, it's Canada It would be difficult to adjust to it after the US if you decide to settle here after all.cincikid said:It's ridiculous. The link they provide for the US-based applicants is useless if you don't have a Canadian credit card.
Since we applied for Canadian FSW program, we already received Australian PR and that was a breeze. Super simple and intuitive with minimum bureaucracy. Took 82 days in total from lodging application to getting a grant.
I'll send you a PM now.cincikid said:Hopefully the US (we've been here for a while) but the immigration process is the least straightforward of all. It's a black box really. How long have you been in Canada? I am originally from Ukraine, btw.
