Hi all,
Happy New Year to each one of you!!

Am a May 7th applicant, got my medicals done on October 14th and 3rd line updated on 18th as " medicals received" and now waiting for PPR..Meanwhile I suddenly realized that I didn't furnish the details of my US visa refusal to NDVO and hence I sent the schedule A background declaration form again in December 1st week and I have not heard anything from them so far.
My query is whether to raise a CSE and find out the status of my application or wait for some more time..I understand that at this stage of mine,the criminal records check is going on now and I also understand that the average time for the NDVO to deeply to any CSE is 77 days..so please help me deciding whether it's really required at this point of time

P.S: I HAVE SENT THE ADDITIONAL DOCUMENT WAY AFTER MY MEDICALS, RPRF AND PCC SUBMISSION DATE WHICH WAS NOV15TH AND I SENT THE DOCUMENTS ON DEC 5TH.

Oh dear, Your application has already passed the admissibility checks (criminality, security) and hence they issued u medical requests, but i think they are re-assessing your file again now for the new docs u sent. ( Note that US and Canada share information with each other).
You shld be fine thou as loads of applicants complain of long wait for PPR from NDVO after Medicals

so in my case pcc was only demanded for india , where as i have visited uk, dubai,istanbul,hongkong less than 6 months trip in last 10 years , do this all countries will be verified , please guide

CIC has third party to check ur security.... they just want to make sure that u dont have any criminal record or security issue...


SO they have their way of screening data base.... No one exactly knows how this third party works..... BUT, THEY WILL NOT VRIFY ALL THESE COUNTRIES DIRECTLY.......... relax........

Okay...before anything...here is my profile
NOC:- 2232
APP FILED :-18/08/14
PER:- 6/12/14
Now i didn't send PCC along with the app thinkin would send it later. But now i am confused should i send it right away or should i wait for NDVO to ask for it?
Another thing, i got married on 8th Nov and sent a CSE to NDVO asking the procedure to add my spouse in the app. They sent a mail asking for her docs but didn't tell me the time upto when i should submit. I am confused should i send it now or should i wait for second line update?

I would say u send ur wife's docs to them as requested. File requests from VO lasts 30days.
Asper your PCC, you they wld request for it with your Medicals and RPRF too.
Note that u will also be required to show increment in ur POF - as it 2 of u now.

+1 To you, than in security check what they check and why there is so much delay in issuing PPR as already 3 months have passed , it is due to backlog or still verification is on

Yup, it is confusing... we need to wait and see. As a second thought however, even if this is true, will it apply on FSW2014 as well? I think all the info we are looking at are for EE2015 and shouldn't apply on FSW2014 applicants (i.e. applications reached cic on or before 31 Dec 2014) ???????

But it seems to be FSWP and other applicants under EE stream only.
As you my also read on CIC page that rule will be same for applicants applied earlier to 2015

Even i am in the same boat, My US B1 was rejected and i haven`t updated in the form, So planning to send an cover letter once i received PER.
Did you receive any response from cic after sending your cover letter, Can you please help me the format of the cover letter, You response will be highly appreciated.

In my case I got UCI as I am PhD student in Canada... in ur case im not sure..... If u have UCI and ur CC is not yet cashed.. then send it to CIO

If u r already charged and waiting for PER.... please wait..... once u get PER... send this form and any docs u wanna send it to the VO directly....

In my case I sent to CIO, CIO did not respond to my email.......then I emailed my VO (CPC-O) and they acknowledged the doc arrival

I applied under 0015, my application reached on DEC 31st, what you guys think how much time it takes.

All requested documents except police certificate is sent.

No problems, you are into the race, your NOC is a cold one. Your app will be processed under FSW2014.
