Hi, I can understand ur situation. Its not easy to provide yes or no answer..... Based on my experience in Canada for the past 4.5 years, I can give you some inputs, which u may consider...

My suggestions:

1) Apply for jobs from India, if get one, move to Canada.... This is less realistic.... The employer may not give u job as u are not available for interview.. and u may need additional course work to get the job

2) The best suggestion is to take leave from job in India... finish Landing procedure first and stay in Canada for few months and try to find the job... if u both can get good jobs u may resign Indian job and stay in Canada.... again the problem is u will loose money and time if u decide to go back.

Lets start with the positive points moving to Canada.........

1) You will enjoy ur given privacy in Canada over India...Less population density and no one will interfere in the private life of ur family..

2) Very secured place to have family

3) Nature, so many places to roam around

4) If you able to manage a job, ur pay will be high (especially engineer or management ppl)

5) Clean air to breath

6) Ppl are very welcoming and well behaved, I did not see any racism so far... (It does not matter what they think inside but they are polite and welcoming outside)

7) There are certain comforts that u get that cannot be simply explained... one has to experience it.

Negative side:

1) No Job security,... despite many ppl are in good jobs, anyone can be laid off from work at any point...switching jobs is a routine. in India this is the greatest advantage... job security... Also, oil prices influence economy and job market of Canada, especially provinces like Alberta...right now the market is going down.....

2) Indian work experience may not be considered

3) Weather in the winter is depressing and biggest hassle... if u love trees and gardening... forget it

4) Many ppl at work believe that they are better than u for no reason... of course u can change their opinion by being confident and showing ur skills

5) Money management is super important.... I feel like spending money in Canada is way too easy and there will be that fee this fee... mechanics are expensive... any labour work is more expensive must be careful with buying stuff

6) Labour work is paid well compare to office jobs.. also jobs are mainly for engineers and management ppl... nurses, medical doctors... If u wish to work for management or finance or medical or pharmaceutical u may have to do extra course work in Canada

6) If u are use to many friends around u and love to hav friends company most of the time... it could be a problem here.. usually u need to call well before and check availability and visit ppl

There is + and - everywhere, so up to u to decide

You are in a queue right now. This long 3-4 month waiting is because the pervious candidates in queue
Otherwise checking for completness is just the matter of a few hours.
It dosent matter they will check from begin or somewhere in middle, they will finish work of your file in a day or 2 day when your turn comes.

Thanks so much for your quick reply, actually they send the packages through surface mail.they posted my package in mid of october and i recieved it in december.Almost 2 months wasted still i feel lucky to get the package on time and could resubmit it within stipulated period. They had written UCI number on my forms which i received so i am guessing that they have allotted me UCI number.I hope they gear up now.
Thanks

Dear Friend
Thank you for your kindly message.
I am 20 Oct. applicant in NOC 2132, and I have not received any CC or PER till now.
I couldn't control my stress, because any result of this process can change my future life.
With today, it is 75-day period that I don't know about my future.
What do you think?
As you know with final updated table, 207 person were in pending and I don't know whether I am in this list or not. Can I be in cap?
Thank you in advance for your consideration
Regards

Hi Friend's who have received PR Visa.

Visa is valid for one year from the date of MR
or one year from when the medical is done.

I am asking this question because I have received MR and RPRF but my US PCC will be only available in FEB.
Already got India PCC.

Should I wait till Feb to get medical done and then send all documents together
or should I get the medical done and send the India PCC and medical now and send the US PCC later in Feb

Appreciate your advise

Regards
Arjun Singh

Guys..is there a requirement to submit all passports together for visa stamping? Asking because my family is in india and I am currently staying in a different country.

Also can anyone share their PPR request mail content please?

Yes, All passports needs to be submitted together...but you can take opinion with other forum members...

If you are currently not in India than you have to travel back to India for submitting your passport because your visa office is NDVO ..

You can send your passport to India via courier from any other country....

Take other forum members opinion....

Friends,

I understand that the only thing for FSWP processing timeline is nothing but "WAITING".
However, I'm just curious to know if there is anyone in the same boat as mine.

ECAS status updated to "DECISION MADE" on 22-Dec. Haven't received my PPR mail yet.

Thank you

You can write to NDVO explaining your situation and mention that u cannot courier the passports out of country... then they will contact with VO (CPC-ottawa or watever the country u r in) and arrange for PR visa stamping for u to submit to local VO and ur family members will have to submit passport to NDVO... It is quite common for few applicants...

BUT..... you have to land in canada with PR status before they come to canada for landing

Gud luck....

How to know how many of us got their ecas changed to decision made????

Indian passports should not be sent by post/courier out of country of residence...
