My second Line got updated in ECAS, does it mean that my background check of employment is done and what else does it mean?

Application date: 14th July

Per Date: 12th Nov

2nd line updated with "started processing on 31st Dec"

The backgrounds will be initiated after 2nd line update

Second line appears when the assigned officer opens file in GCMS and begins processing it by initiating document verification and criminality check. Upon completion he/she sends MR.

Dear Seniors....I have a query...can u please throw some light...

If i have to submit passports in vfs delhi...and if my spouse cannot come with me....is it possible that i can submit my spouse passport or he has to b present himself...if i can submit his passport...do i need any document for dat...like authorization letter.... For submitting, you do not require an authorization letter but for collecting, you need an authorization letter

one more query....after gettin PPR....can i use the funds which i showed in my bank account....or i need to wait till i get passport stamped ??? ??? ??? I would say use the funds once the status on VFS website for your passports change to dispatched to be on safer side

sorry to say that ur application will reject them. some of forum members already faced this situation. my suggestion send the copies of ur degree certificate with a cover letter to CIO mentioning ur last and first name, DOB, Passport, Nationality, NOC code, date of application received date and if u have UCI mention it. hope for the best

Aside from courier, I would like to send them a softcopy is there an email address I can send copies of my diploma and transcript of records so they will receive atleast a copy of it? This is sad

You don't have to update forms for the same information if they were replace by new ones. Normally you won't have to, only if the VO asks it, and it's quite rare.

But the forumite that asked me the question made a mistake in one form and needed to send new forms because of that mistake. In his case it's mandatory.

Hi Kv_Murphy. DO not make same mistake someone made on this forum for quitting all at once and moving wit whole family at once.
My advise wld be to get your family there first and get your spouse to do some courses while shez there and job hunt, she can advise u on the job market. And things to do also. Uve got a year to make entry remember and u need 2yrs out of 5yrs for PR extension.
So think it well before u loose a good job that pays 2laks a mth.
