I am May 1st 2014 Applicant. My ecas still shows as medicals have been received. This was since Sep 15th i suppose. I have seen many have got their decision made. Should I be concerned about my status ? Please confirm.

I am 12th Sept applicant under NOC 1123. ECAS shows "In Process". However, no PER as such.

@Seniors - Could you please suggest when I shall expect PER email from CIC?

WHen I click on Inprocess I see my application was received on Aug 1, nothing much than this... I feel before they issue Positive file number they do the verification, after file number they just send MR as er their time line, is my understanding correct?

However, I'm just curious to know if there is anyone in the same boat as mine.

ECAS status updated to "DECISION MADE" on 22-Dec. Haven't received my PPR mail yet.

When did u finish medicals does not matter for CIC... they have to finish background, security and criminality.... only after successful completion of all these checks u will get ppr

Time taken for security checks is different for each applicant... depends on how many countries u visited, any security issues with the ppl with similar family name, documentation u provided, ur country of origin and so on so

Also ur visa officer has to work on ur file after these checks...

One more thing is, after successful completion of these checks, ur file will be picked by ur Visa officer only on NEXT Bring forward date....

Order GCMS if u r in CAnada u will know all these...

If u did not get Medicals and Decision Made means.... Rejection....\

If u have done medicals in the past year then it could be Approval of application,,,

Thanks. I am from India and will try to order GCMS. I paid the RPRF fee online and was wondering if this caused any issue. I will play the waiting game and see what happens.

NO Background and Criminality will be started the day ur second line is added in ECAS...

That means after passing eligibility.....

some agents are telling that CIC/CIO will have some additional privileges who can extend the validity of DDs. Is it true?

100% false. Validity depends on the bank and not by CIC. If the bank don't honor DD after validity expires, no way CIO can get the money.

Hi All It is very difficult for some one to open SS and check your timeline:
Please understand the problem that due to restriction some one can't open SS and to reduce questions like, what is you app date, what is PER date, I request all to update your time line under your Profile on left.
Below s the procedure :

I have one request, if possible ... **** Please update important & required information timeline under you Name in Profile, so that it can be easy for every one to understand and see details rather then to go and check in SS.

It is very Easy, Below are steps:

Just go to right top of Screen and you will find " PROFILE " tab, click over it.

Then - On the left middle of screen you will get 3 options : Under " Modify Profile " - please choose second option " Forum Profile Information " and click over it.

Then please enter your details , whatever applicable , like :

Location:
Category........:
Visa Office......:
NOC Code......:
App. Filed.......:
Doc's Request.:
Nomination.....:

And it will show under your name .... Please help each other to make it easy to check current timeline of individual.
