Hi,

I think you need not worry about your case. Its very trivial and there is no reason for VO to believe that you have hidden the fact deliberately as there is no substantial cause..

Leave comments like conviction/cancellation of citizenship etc.. they are too far fetched and misleading.

I had done the same mistake. After I received my MR, I drafted an apologetic cover letter, alongwith revised background form, photocopies of US visa rejection letters and sent it to my Visa office in New Delhi via courier.
Generally after your Medicals, your local VO does criminality check, wherein 1 of their checks includes verifying your information with the US immigration database too (generally for asylum, deportation etc.) but your student and tourist visa rejection will definitely crop up there.

Although, that's not a base to jeopardize your Canadian PR, but they might reject your case based on misrepresentation...now...after you get a PR and land in canada..or maybe even after you acquire a Canadian citizenship...you never know..quite uncertain situation to be in....

Hence, I suggest you send your local VO all these docs by courier. Declaring this now won't affect your PR application for sure..a 100% positive on that!!

When We submit our application to CIO I checked 6. e) in my wife's background declaration form because at that time government of Oman refused to issue visa to my wife due a previous overstay of 3 and half month and informed us that my wife got blacklisted to enter Oman for 2 years. I should have checked 6. d) instead of 6. e) because it was a case of visa refusal (although government of Oman did not issued any rejection letter) and after the submission of our application to CIO the government of Oman issued visa to my wife with the same submitted documents so in fact it was not even a case of visa refusal but visa delayed but we had already checked 6. e) in my wife's background declaration form and had informed that the visa was refused due to overstay. Now what we should do and how we should correct the records.

Your response shall be highly appreciated.

hi guys,

I am back on forum,Just for ur information i got my whole package back through surface mail from cic on 13th december stating that my husband's date of bith certificate is missing.I has sent his tenth mark sheet as he do not have date of birth certificate.So now i have again sent my application with affidavit sating that he does not have records in birth and death registrar and my application is recieved on 22nd december.

The package i got back with all forms marked with pencil and they have written UCI number with pencil.I printed new forms with same UCI number and sent my package on 16th december which was recieved on 22nd december.

Now my question is will they take 100 days to check my application again or they will start from where they left it?
Also i made DD again and the previous expiry date was in janurary.

Now i am just counting on GOD.
Please send me link to update SS.

It will b treated as a fresh app. Now u have to wait for at least 70 days around to be charged . all the best. U can update the entry sheet from the link given in my signature.

As long as you correctly wrote the reason at the space provided in the question 6, don't worry at all. Stay relax. Visa refusal/inadmission from of country A won't cause visa refusal for Canada as long as you disclose the information.

What opinion exactly do you want? I can say for Kyiv Visa Office - as for July 30, 2014, in the last 12 months they finalized total of 14 cases under FSW program (all submitted, starting from February 27, 2008, pre-list-38 - yes, there was 1 case this old still left), that's less than 30 people who received their decision.
So, 90 people target - that's, I think, 40 something cases, seems pretty fair. I doubt there will be 40 cases in Kyiv under FSW 2014 (unless they have some backlog), there are very few people in Ukraine who applies under this program, most of Ukrainians come to Canada as spouses and provincial nominees. However, I already saw 6 cases in forums who received their visas, 16 people minimum... Will see.

If you want to form your opinion on your VO, go to Open Data (google "CIC open data") and find stats, it's all there.

I'm not sure if they will put the excess cases in the backlog... Chances are, they will.

I still dont get it how the process works. I have seen many october applicants who got the PER already.
