Big Thanks to forum members..
One day while goggling I found this great forum, it helps me in lot in making my application with out any consultant.
Initially I planned to apply 2174,2173 later 2171 finally I applied under 2172 because of capping timelines by the help of forum members.

1) I have taken reff later on A4 paper and attested by my colleague with his business card.
2) instead of BC I kept Affidavit from parents.

Finally My CC charged on 23 December 7 PM EST.

App Date: 21st October
NOC: 2172

Regarding the BC it is better that you also include the copy of Secondary school certificate and your national id card and your parents national id cards copies. If there is any other document which specifically mentions that where and when you are born and who are your parents and what is your national id number, can be accompanied as evidence.

Please note that there should be sufficient/satisfactory evidence which can be considered "in lie of birth certificate" because usually there is general rule of thumb at CIO that says:-
NO BC=Rejection (except if something substituted in place of BC is sufficient enough in place of BC)

My wife got a new passport last month in lieu of damaged passport
Our scheduled medical appointment is on Dec 26.....
The medical request form mentions old passport no
what should I do now....
Should i ask VO to send me another updated medical request form?

Nothing to worry, carry two passport for medicals. And while sending documents to VO send Copies of new passport with cover letter explaining the situation. Good Luck....

i received my PER on the 18th Nov 2014, however my passport expired on the 24th Oct 2014, just before PER, i suspect my application should be in the local visa office now, do i send an updated passport photo page or should i wait for local VO to request.

Just one another question dmac11. if i ask them for my UCI number ,what will they do send my UCI number to my email address or tell me by phone? if send to email address which email address ? what i mention in my application form or i can tell them different email address?

There is no harm in sending the attachment of the biopages of your new passport via CSE online.

Can you please clarify below queries, post Medical stage:
- How long it takes for PPR after 3rd line update in eCas? No one can guess
- What will be the duration of stamped Visa on passport? One year from the medicals date
- What will be the start date for the Confirmation of Permanent Residence [COPR] letter (validity is 1 year). Is the PR duration start date is same as that of COPR letter? One year from the medicals date

Now delhi immigration is asking Job description on company letter head, which they compony does not give.

They have asked to respond in 30 days

Any idea how to prove my job details. Please help urgent

just get a reference letter from your HR or supervisor stating job responsibilities (try to match with your NOC, but do not copy paste), your designation, salary, working hours per week etc. Submit the letter from the company where you worked in your primary occupation

Fortune and my Medical:

Since it was taking too long to get any email/response from SG after my second line addition (9th Oct 14), I have applied for GCMS report on 18th Nov. I rcvd the report one month later...Since I am moving it took two days to read the email....

[size=13pt]And then what I have seen on the GCMS report ( @ correspondence section ) - They have sent me Medical Request on 20th Oct 14 with below docs:

1. Medical Attachment for me and spouse
2. PCC for BD and FBI report
3. Photo
4. Updated Employment letter from HR dept
5. Right of Permanent Residence Fee

They had given 60 days for all of this formalities.Whole body of the emails is written GCMS report (with all other correspondences like PER/AOR etc.).

So I have already crossed that time frame.

After that I have sent an email to SG referring to this GCMS report's email and informed them that I have not rcvd any email communication from them. They have sent me an email immediately with Medical attachment and instruction. This time they have given me 30 days and mentioned that they will refuse my application otherewise.


So after waiting of 20 months I have finally received Medical request (without receiving any prior doc req from them).
