What does it mean when status in ECAS says in process and upon clicking it says we received your application on _____. However, upon looking on the explanation of in process, it means that you have passed the eligibility test.

Hey Guys,

Just a quick check with you all. Understand that there is no notification from CIC when you send your application. I sent my application via DHL in end Nov and based on DHL tracking, it said that documents received on 4th Dec.

The thing is there is no signature on the proof of delivery stating someone in CIC has received although DHL dhows it had been delivered. So what does this mean? Is my application received? Please advise.

DHL uses third party courier from Ontario onwards. Since CIC does not accept single packages, the whole lot of cic deliveries are send in a single consignment per day through a third party courier. It delays the process for couple of days though but it surely delivers. The electronic POD you downloaded from DHL website will not show you the name or digital signature of the recipient however if you call their helpline and ask for the details, they will atleast tell you the name of the person who received it. You may enter you details in the spreadsheet (SS) and check other's entries to match if the time of delivery and recipient name matches or not for your satisfaction. The SS link in given below in my signature.

I have already worked in canada and still have valid status
This means that I have a UCI for me and my family
So is it a must to include the copies of our birth certificates ?
I have already sent mine and forgot to include it for my wife .
