What does it mean when status in ECAS says in process and upon clicking it says we received your application on _____. However, upon looking on the explanation of in process, it means that you have passed the eligibility test.

It means your documents were received, checked and you have passed the initial steps. You should be receiving PER very soon and then your file is transferred to your local VO for further processing.

Third line”Medical have been received” updated on 14.12.2014

Go to police commissione office in Ahmedabad

Hi everyone,

The birth certificate is not in english , so I made it's translated from the translator in to english. Now I got the following documents :

1) Birth certificate copy ( In my Native language )
2) Translation of Birth certification in english ( stamped and signed by the translator)
3) Affidavit given by the translator ( stamped and signed by the translator )

Now, for the above mentioned documents , Do I need to make any attestations like from a court or lawyer or my embassy or notary ?

Please advice for all the above three documents , if attestation is required ,

I updated my address, it was not updated until after 5 days. Though I don't know if the update is the reason for the delay of my PER.

HELP!

the postal code on my address has been changed lately. Can I change it from my ECAS? won't it create any problem?

The "mistake" is quite big one, and you may have to pay for it for misrepresentation.

Is the baby from your previous marriage or from new?

If previous marriage, you have no option other than explaining this in a very well written letter to VO why you didnot mention in the application and wait for their kind response.

If from new marriage and there is no 'baby' from old marriage, you may continue this but you are again taking risk of even deportation after getting PR for not presenting correct information.

Sorry if I sound harsh but hope this helps you to take right decision!

Baby is from new marriage. So what should I do? What is your final opinion.

If you were charged chances of getting PER are pretty high so relax, if you are confident about your documents there is no need to worry.
