Considering the fact that a few applicants were called for interview and VO asked them questions specifically concerning their job duties, it would be fair to say that they verify NOC duties even at VO stage along with authenticity check.

Sorry I do not have much info about timelines involved between PER & MR stage.

Could you please let us know when did you send the mail for which you have received a reply from CIC?

There is absolutely no doubt that mismatch in job duties (infer it from the perspective of immigration officer) is the single biggest reason of rejection at VO stage (during interview or otherwise).

Just kidding, felt very dumb after finding all the posts and had to put up this post :D

I did intervene in this discussion st some point, but you probably ignored my message altogether. Appreciate your archiving skills! +1 :D :D :D

I dont think they will reject apps for minor mistakes. CIO also understands applicants are under stress when they are collecting documents for the application

Be positive my friend

I would second this thought process and advise you to stay positive.
However, wont be unreal to say that there are insensitive officers in VOs.
CIO still works professionally.

So, what do you think about my issue concerning writing mistakenly my full name in my (given names) field in the generic form while I had already written my family name in its field ?! Putting into consideration that I wrote my name correctly on all other fields and forms.
