Yes, landing formalities need to be done within 1 year of MR. After landing, Visa is valid for 5 years on renewable basis, subject to fulfillment of certain conditions..

Correction:

After landing there is not Visa. You have to show PP and PR card, they will swipe your card to record entry in their system(while re-entering Canada).

my application reached in December 16th . NOC 1123. cap is already 482+340=822. still 0ctober and November applicants are not charged in this NOC. seems like I am out of the game :'(

Is the Visa validity for 1 year is for landing into canada ( with in 1 year) , after that the Visa would be for 5 years? Am i Correct?

Visa Validity starts from the date of MR or Passport expiry date whichever is the shortest

After sending my 2nd applicant yesterday to be delivered on d 22nd of Dec, 2014, my PER just landed in mail box just now.

After 11 days of ECAS active status, PER at last. Jehovah deserve all my praises. I wish others good news too and smooth process in d rest of my application in Accra VO.

You can send an email to the email address - CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca.

Please type the address instead of copy-pasting it and also mention URGENT in the subject line.

If they have attempted twice so far to charge your CC, I am sure they will try to charge it final 3rd time again as seen in the past with some other applicants. Don't worry.

The meaning of ( complete applications)

I just noticed that cic have explained the meaning of complete application at their web site:
When you click upon the f ( complete applications) this will direct you to a page having the following statement:

What is a complete application package?

Your application package is complete when you have:

answered all of the questions on the application form, and
submitted all the necessary documents along with your application.

That's correct .. Document verification and Security checks are initiated by NDVO

From which email ID did you get this email from? I think you may have to use the same ID from where you got this email, or preferably, reply back to the same email.

Did they quote any reference number etc? Are you sharing with us the entire email or have you edited anything?

Hello all fellow applicants...I am an applicant from 2013.....got my visa in March 2014....landed on 27th June.....me and my wife are settled with jobs and took us almost 4-5 months to setup our home and other stuff....Wen i landed i was alone with no friends and relatives and I know how painful it is.....just want to extend all my support to any of you if interested.....remember you are not alone here....I was also an excited applicant from 2013 timeline thread and now it is time to pay back to this wonderful forum with my support...please PM if any of guys need anything and I shall try my best to reply asap....i will try and send this message every day on this forum so that everyone can see it....please dont hate me doing this....
