Is the Visa validity for 1 year is for landing into canada ( with in 1 year) , after that the Visa would be for 5 years? Am i Correct?

Yes, landing formalities need to be done within 1 year of MR. After landing, Visa is valid for 5 years on renewable basis, subject to fulfillment of certain conditions..

Dear Friends:

Hope you are doing just fine. I am seeking some of your valuable time please.

I got my PER on 5th Dec'14 (Alhamdulillah). Now waiting for MR and rest of the process (Inshallah)....... I am under SGVO. as per the SS data the average waiting time for PER to MR is approx 90 days for SGVO. So hopefully I may expect the MR on the first week of March'15 Inshallah (as per the SS Data).

At present my wife is pregnant and we are expecting our baby on the last week of February'15. Inshallah.

Q.1 I just wanted to know, Should I inform or update any issue to CIC/SGVO regarding this? SGVO
Q.2 If MR comes before the baby's Birth its understandable that the doctors will update the info to CIC/VO. Please correct me if I am wrong.You are right, MR is done after the baby is born
Q.3 but if MR comes after the baby's birth what will happen? what will be my course of action? Once you inform the SGVO, they will provide the instructions on how to add the information of your baby to the application and how to go abt the MR

I know there are a lot of discussion already happen regarding this issue in the forum but I am really very much confused.
So dear friends, May I expect your valuable suggestion or opinion in this regard.

Hi,

I got a reply from CIC regarding my request to withdraw my second file which I sent on Sept 11 for NOC 4011. They have replied me that they have withdrawn my file and sent it back thru normal courier.

While my first file under NOC 1114 is at NDVO for which I got PER of Oct 27. When shud I expect MR for that? and also what does NDVO check? DO they again verify NOC duties ? I mean NOC matching or not or do they only check authenticity of what we have sent?

Anyone with GMCS note can throw some light?

Considering the fact that a few applicants were called for interview and VO asked them questions specifically concerning their job duties, it would be fair to say that they verify NOC duties even at VO stage along with authenticity check.

Sorry I do not have much info about timelines involved between PER & MR stage.

Could you please let us know when did you send the mail for which you have received a reply from CIC?

For the experts here! :) I want to share with you my problem as every time I try to calm down myself , I fail ! .. I've posted this issue before! My application received : 22 October , 2014 NOC: 3112 My full name is like that [b]A B C D[/b] , so my given names: [b]A B C[/b] while my family name : [b]D [/b] [IMG]http://i725.photobucket.com/albums/ww254/youfes/Capture1.jpg[/IMG] [b](Red Colors here indicate my family name which was written twice ! )[/b] I have done many minor mistakes but the only one that scares me is that in the 1st field of the main applicant, I wrote my given names : A B C D ( Full name ) while I actually wrote ( D ) as my family name. on the other fields of all forms and documents , I wrote my name correctly. I mean that I used my first three names as my given names and my fourth name as my family name. what scares me is this mistake is at the first part of the generic form. I've sent an additional envelope containing a corrected generic form with the correct name and it was received on 10 December 2014. At that time, I think that my file had been already reviewed ( the completeness check ) so I'm afraid that my application was on its way returned to me. Dears, Does this mistake cause the application to be rejected ?! honestly! Thanks in advance! [/quote]
