Dear friends,

I have taken my Pcc on 10-june-2014 from
Chennai and placed the same along with the package as well.
My details are below:
App received at cic- 30 June 2014
Per received date : 27 oct 2014.
VO : NDVO
Now I am waiting for MR.

My current PCC IS CROSSED 6 months already. What you think ? Whether I have to take a new one to submit along with Mr ?

Please share your thoughts who has already gone through the same situation.

PCC are generally valid for 1year regardless of when they are issued. Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one. From Guide 7000

The Entry is correct, but you people missed out on the noc. The noc is 2172 please see the ss once again.

I just discovered i made a mistake in my background declaration form under education.I mistakenly ommited to type in details of my 2 years of post secondary education i had in an art school in the bigger boxes in question 8 .Although i am not using the certificate to claim any point,however i indicated the number of years rightly in the smaller boxes on top of the form rightly under 'trade school or other post secondary school' as 2 years and also i included it in the total number of years of education i had in the generic application form i.e my total number of years of education is 20 years but the details i provided is only 18 years.

I have a masters degree which i am using to claim points.Should i send another declaration form with cover letter telling them to switch it with the new one i am sending?

The key words here are "eligible occupation". If his 9 years of experience were not in 5125, but he applies as 5125 - without that 1 year of continuous full-time work as 5125 he does not meet basic eligibility requirement.

Thank you, I hope you will receive yours too. I hope it will turn out fine for both of us. You have a valid point here. At first I thought that our collegue had the one year full-time experience as required by CIC.
What he wrote is: "CIC did not accept 1 year of my 10 years of translation experience as I am an independent translator. I have been accepted to sit for ATIO entrance exam after applying to FSW - which requires 4 years of full-time experience of the recent 5years, 100,000words a year". As I understand, he has 10 years of translation experience as an independent translator, but yet he has been accepted to sit an exam that requires at least 4 years of full-time translation experience gained within the last 5 years. However, the full-timeliness of his experience in this case is measured with the numer of words translated (100,000words) and not hours per week/month/year as required by CIC. I think the problem is that he hasn't managed to prove sufficiently that he meets the CIC requirements.

Call all these and ask them the schedule. They have online system, which calculates exact date of delivery. Choose the fastest one!.

You might wanna add TNT in your list as they have office in Halifex, they deliver it directly (Unlike others)

I thought 2nd Sep application is the last one to be under the cap...

Also a 17th Sep applicant got a reply from CIO that his application has been returned on 26th Nov because cap has already been reached...

Which one of these two events are true?? Or is this possible that both are true?Huh

Hi Forumers,

I submitted my application November 6, 2014. It reached Nova Scotia and received November 12, 2014. My NOC is 3012. I came to see at the cic site that 3012 reached its cap last December 11, 2014. MY QUESTION IS WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THAT I AM INCLUDED IN THE 3012 CAP GIVEN THE DATE THEY RECEIVED MY PAPERS WHICH WAS NOVEMBER 12, 2014.

Friends,
I need some assistance here. I couldn't get a proper answer when asked earlier!

I sent my PCC to CIO, Sydney on 15th Nov one day before i received PER email.
I received my PER email on 16th Nov - which states that further communication should be with London VO.

Question - will CIO transfer the PCC along with my file to London VO or will i have to instruct them?

Guys, please assist with this query?

NO guarantee.
If they have attached your PCC with earlier original set of docs, then you should not require a fresh PCC, else if they have just discarded the PCC as it was sent late, then you may have to get fresh PCC. You will come to know once you get MR / PCC / RPRF letter from VO.
I still fail to understand why you sent the PCC so late to CIC Sydney in the first place. PCC needs to be sent with the original application ideally though not mandatory, but if you can't send then, you can submit to VO later after getting PER.
