Thank you, I hope you will receive yours too. I hope it will turn out fine for both of us. You have a valid point here. At first I thought that our collegue had the one year full-time experience as required by CIC.
What he wrote is: "CIC did not accept 1 year of my 10 years of translation experience as I am an independent translator. I have been accepted to sit for ATIO entrance exam after applying to FSW - which requires 4 years of full-time experience of the recent 5years, 100,000words a year". As I understand, he has 10 years of translation experience as an independent translator, but yet he has been accepted to sit an exam that requires at least 4 years of full-time translation experience gained within the last 5 years. However, the full-timeliness of his experience in this case is measured with the numer of words translated (100,000words) and not hours per week/month/year as required by CIC. I think the problem is that he hasn't managed to prove sufficiently that he meets the CIC requirements.

Exactly! The way his post was worded, I also assumed he has 10 years of translation experience, so his situation doesn't make any sense. Maybe you right, there simply wasn't enough evidence about the amount of work performed, so they were not able to determine how many years of full-time equivalent he had, and whether there was one continuous year in there somewhere. Well, let us wait until he clarifies what the issue was exactly.

Really Releived Today and Happy Also. I was checking my email again and again. But then I gave up on Friday and yesterday thought of checking my Inbox and found the PER Email...

Thank you for all the help. I tried to make an entry in Spread sheet however couldn't because my system has some issues with Office. Request Seniors to update it.

I was worried and tensed that what will happen. I remember someone posted that at every stage we get tensed and worried. I believe now after some time I'll receive the MR then PCC if it has become old since I sent it with the application from Police Station but I've observed that CIC may not ask for this doc since it it already there, else will send it upon their request, plus RPRF and Passport Submission.

I've received the PER Email on December 12th 2014. Exactly on 110th day of my application received which was on August 25th 2014.

NOC: 2171 NDVO - CC
Application Sent Via DHL: August 20th 2014
Application Received: August 25th 2014
CC Charge: November 11th 2014
PER Received: December 12th 2014

I shall dispatch hopefully my second application on 18th Dec,2014 in evening from Doha, Qatar (all shipments to Canada from Doha are routed through Dubai-Hub, for all courier services).

Which service from following should I use in order to avoid any unexpected delay:-

DHL
Fedex
Aramex

If you can do it thru UPS because they have representative office in NS whereas DHL doesnot have and they use third party from Toronto to NS for these parcel. I dont know about the other two but you can check from them.

Nonetheless, All courier service will deliver your parcel regardless of third party arrangement, it may be time lag issue of one to two days max. I did it from DHL and got confirmation as to who has received my application pack.

The way i see it, you have two choices:

1. Be at the mercy of CIC that they would forward your envelope to VO and match it against your application. In this case VO won't ask for your PCC. - but there is no guarantee in this option and if they did ask you, you will have limited time to arrange another one.

2. Start preparing for another PCC and send ONLY if VO asks you to. - In this option at least you are guaranteed saved and right now you have enough time to get new one.

I hope any senior gives you better option, but this is as per my opinion.

One of myfriend has applied in NOC 3111.
His applicatio was received on 06/10/14. Today he found that he made a mistake in credit card numbers. I know that there might not be any chance now. But I saw 2 of the forum member had same problem and they have sent mail to CIC and later the application was accepted. He has sent a mail with updated scan copy with cover letter to CIC and he is going to phone them tomorrow. Is there any more suggestion?
