The exact letter they send is like this:

This is to advise you that the document by document evaluation which you have requested is not sufficient for : further education.
Canadian academic institutions generally require a Course by course evaluation. Your file will be on hold until we receive your reply.

They would reject my prior application???

if u intention is to further ur edcuation and u have requested doc by doc evalution - then this demands that u send course description of each subject to wes

fyi - such an evaluation will benefit u from gaining credit on further education in canadian universities and also helps on fees reductions

so head to ur previous edu institution and request for course descrption subject by subject

We have now completed the initial assessment of your application, and expect to finalize your application without a personal interview.
While an interview does not appear necessary at this time, we reserve the right to call you to an interview,
should this become necessary at some future stage in processing.

In order to continue processing your application, the following is required:

· Provide evidence of settlement funds – Proof of (CAD $18,097) as proof of sufficient funds for family."

Please, my question is: Should I just print a bank statement showing this amount or a 3 to 6 months statement.

I'll appreciate your inputs. Thanks

1) Medicals for 3 of us;
2) PCC request - both India & US; and
3) RPRF Fees

Honestly, we were not even expectign this but CIC has definitely surprised us!! We've received this request exactly 3 weeks from our PER notification. Our heartfelt thanks to all of you for the good wishes!!

If you can provide a bank statement with 3-6 months showing required amount, i think that would b bbetter

I will be sending my file on 20th dec and my passport validity is till 30 march 2015. Currently noc cap is at close to 500. What you folks think are my chances?? ??? ???
As I am short of time, I will not be able to renew my passport before sending my application.
Anybody with same experience please guide me???
After I send my file and renew my passport, will CIC people attach a copy of my latest passport as addendum to my file???

I had the same scenario. I sent the file with passport copy which was about to expire and processed the new passport in the mean time. However, my DD was encashed before the expiration date and got PER mail after the expiration date. So I guess it won't be an issue in your case too. Chill.
