Hi All,

I got a request for RPRF fee on Sep18. I had paid RPRF fees and emailed the receipt to CPC on Sep 26. But there is no update on my case that RPRF has been received. Do we need to mail them the receipt too ?

I got a request for police certificates on Oct 6. I mailed them the documents on Oct 14. But there is no update on the case regarding the documents.

What should I do ?

Guys I received this email from my visa office:

"This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

We have now completed the initial assessment of your application, and expect to finalize your application without a personal interview.
While an interview does not appear necessary at this time, we reserve the right to call you to an interview,
should this become necessary at some future stage in processing.

In order to continue processing your application, the following is required:

· Provide evidence of settlement funds – Proof of (CAD $18,097) as proof of sufficient funds for family."

Please, my question is: Should I just print a bank statement showing this amount or a 3 to 6 months statement.

Hello all I have a question regarding the Visa office listed in my application. I am currently working in the US and have applied under FSW 2014 category.

In my application I have listed CPC-Ottawa as the Visa Office. I have noticed that some other applicants from US have listed New York as Visa Office in their applications. Does it matter? Will it make a difference to my application on how it is evaluated and downstream processing steps? Any insights on the matter will be appreciated.

The exact letter they send is like this:

This is to advise you that the document by document evaluation which you have requested is not sufficient for : further education.
Canadian academic institutions generally require a Course by course evaluation. Your file will be on hold until we receive your reply.

They would reject my prior application???

Medicals Received

Greetings!! Praise the lord, we just received the following -

1) Medicals for 3 of us;
2) PCC request - both India & US; and
3) RPRF Fees

Honestly, we were not even expectign this but CIC has definitely surprised us!! We've received this request exactly 3 weeks from our PER notification. Our heartfelt thanks to all of you for the good wishes!!
