I shouldn't be satin this but it's a fact that may help others a lot
U read ur recent post and learnt u hired one of the fraudest consultant of all time long back personally had a v bad experience with them ,
Google it ur consultants hierarchy (Retd def officer )on net u will learn how many of them were banned by rccic and I know consultants you are talking about world wide ......abcxyz
Any ways others please don't get into such traps and also the amount u paid I way too high as per market as well

if u intention is to further ur edcuation and u have requested doc by doc evalution - then this demands that u send course description of each subject to wes

fyi - such an evaluation will benefit u from gaining credit on further education in canadian universities and also helps on fees reductions

so head to ur previous edu institution and request for course descrption subject by subject

I know it will be beneficial but I can get that upgraded later. Right now I am already running late and kind of had a scolding from my fiance for it. If I go back to my university the will take another 20 days and I cannot afford that. The portal is giving me an option to accept or decline course by course upgrade. It will be a mess!!

Guys i read a news on recent news paper that new Consul General has taken charge in bangalore.

it says "Under the leadership of Frank, the Consulate General of Canada in Bengaluru will be equipped with a visa and immigration service point for Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry."

does this means that the applicants from these states, it will be bangalore the visa office?

1) Medicals for 3 of us;
2) PCC request - both India & US; and
3) RPRF Fees

Honestly, we were not even expectign this but CIC has definitely surprised us!! We've received this request exactly 3 weeks from our PER notification. Our heartfelt thanks to all of you for the good wishes!!

Hv 2 queries for my friend..

Some of forms he has downloaded are not opening..what can be done to open the forms.. he has downloaded latest version of acrobat reader but no success

2nd is tht one of the company he has worked with is not giving him the experience certificate.. even if they give, it will be a simple one, not having the details tht cic has asked to provide.. plz suggest how to handle this situation.

HELP: Undisclosed detention and contacting the VO to avoid possible misrepresentation

I was once detained by the police on DUI suspicion. After a Legal Medicine doctor determined that I wasn't drunk, I was released without charges a few hours later. No court date. My PCC are clean.

In the Background Declaration. I answered question J. "have you ever been detained, incarcerated or put in jail?" with NO, based on 2 things:
1. The detention doesn't even show up in my PCC, and I wasn't even charged with anything.
2. I thought the question was referring to arrest/detentions/jail time ordered by a competent judge/court during an ongoing trial, or as part of a sentence after being convicted.

I honestly thought it was not big deal if a police takes you into custody for a night and no charges are pressed, also because it is not even mentioned in my PCC(which I sent along with the application).

I got my PER a few days ago, and now I'm worried I will be accused of misrepresentation if CIC/VO find out about the incident. So I contacted a recognized Canadian immigration lawyer who tells me that I still can fix the situation by sending a Legal Opinion to the VO as soon as possible which states two things:
1. That I'm admissible(not crime was committed, as my PCC clearly show) to Canada.
2. That I never intended to misrepresent myself, and it was an honest misunderstanding answering NO.

The lawyer tells me that if I'm the one to inform the VO(contrary to them finding out during the background checks) before they start processing my application(I haven't received AOR yet), misrepresentation will no longer be an issue.

Please help, I would really appreciate your opinion and advice in this matter, as I'm not sure what to do or not to do right now.

Dear senior forumites,
I received my PER on 4th December 14. What are the next steps in processing?
Regarding background verification, whatever the addresses we had provided will the police will enquire at the address for any history or it is only at the police station of jurisdiction.
Also medicals, what is the requirement of medicals what are all the tests to be conducted.
One query i met with an accident about 2yrs back but due to fracture in the leg there is still implant left there, now with that only i am walking but i am almost normal do all the work myself. will there be any issue with this in medicals eve though i am medically fit to take any kind of job.
please some one reply for above queries. waiting eagerly.

Dear friends,

I need a help. My passport is expiring in Nov 2015. I received PER in Nov-2014, since my visa office is LVO, and my wife is pregnant and expecting in Mar 2015, we can't have our medicals before May even if we get a MR earlier. Can I renew my passport now so that I do not face any problem later in 2015,

Seniors please advice.
