Please can anyone clarify,

I recently got ccc nov 24, my question is

1. If I received ner, will I get a refund? How is one refunded, through check? NO
2. Who updtes the ecas to 2nd line (we started processing your app on...), is it cic or local vo? VO

Thanks.

though 99% it will be PER, NER also cannot be ruled out, only PER confirms the eligibility.

Hi Friends,
I can now see my record online on ECas. I am still awaiting per mail. The record says we recd your application on 11 August. Doesthis construe that a per mail is shortly on the way..

Or an online status update is also created in a similar way for NER.

Pls advise.

I got my UCI from call centre..

Thank

Guys, my CC got charged recently, and I know my UCI from previous business with CIC. But I don't see my info in ECAS.

Is it normal? I heard that CIC updates your PR application status in ECAS once CC is charged.

Any comments?

There's a queue for DE too. In my case, ECAS let me in a few hours before PER. We've seen cases when an applicant with existing UCI got a new number assigned to him. CIC is unpredictable.

I dont think this is right, they give a refund for NER. Here is the statement from CIC pdf: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf

If the application is determined to be eligible for processing, the applicant will be informed. Once
the CIO has made a positive eligibility determination, processing has begun and processing fees
are no
longer refundable.
If the application is determined to be ineligible for processing, the applicant will be informed and
will receive a refund of processing fees. The application will not be returned to the applicant.
