Now that the Chinese applicants have kicked in, it became very difficult to predict anything.

Hi Diplomatru,

Sorry if it is a dumb questions. How do we know that the Chinese applicants have kicked in?

Thanks.

Hi Guys,

This is my first post here! I have two questions for all immigration experts here!

1. I'm an August applicant and received my PER couple days ago. I didn't include the PCC in my initial application. When should I expect to receive the MR and PCC request from the VO (CPC-Ottawa)?

2. For some reason I can't log in into ECAS although I received the PER email! I tried full name, UCI, Payment receipt, Application number, . . . . no success! any idea?

Here are my time line:
NOC 1111
VO: CPC-Ottawa
Application received by CIC: August 5th
CC charged: November 14th
PER: November 26

Congratulations my friend ..

1. I'm an August applicant and received my PER couple days ago. I didn't include the PCC in my initial application. When should I expect to receive the MR and PCC request from the VO (CPC-Ottawa)? Refer to Avg Process Time Tab on SS. for CPC Ottawa, Avg time for MR from the date of PER is 34

2. For some reason I can't log in into ECAS although I received the PER email! I tried full name, UCI, Payment receipt, Application number, . . . . no success! any idea? - Try after couple of more days.

I don't consider it a dumb question. There are Chinese forums like this one where the applicants share their timelines. Since their ECA process took way longer mid October-November is the time when their apps started appearing on CIOs agents' desks, and partly it brought up the rapid filling of some NOCs.

Friends,

I have a problem and hope someone can assist. I am a Sep 23rd applicant NOC 4214. If everything goes well I may get my PER in January 2015. My problem is I am getting my PCC next week. This is just one part that is pending in my application. As we all know PCCs more than 3 months old may have to be reissued. Under normal circumstances if I get the PER in January AOR may follow in February and PCC request may come by March or April or later. In such an instance my PCC becomes lapsed. My question is should I send it to the VO as soon as I get my PER and UCI?

Point to note is I am in another country and this PCC is for the time I stayed in India. As you know it was very difficult to get it organized through the Indian High Commission because I stayed in India in three different locations - Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. They had to write to the Police offices in these places and wait for their reply and then issue it. I am not sure if I may get it reissued on time if I apply for it again later.

Thanks for your help!

Gopal.

At VO stage CIC doesn't have this 3 months PCC validity requirement.

If you send the PCC to the CIO with the original application, it should be issued in less then 3 months.

However, at the VO stage, a PCC is valid for 1 year. So you should wait for the VO to ask you to send it.

Moreover, if you haven't been to India since you got PCC, there is a big chance even expired (older then a year) PCC will be accepted.

Thank you for the info, Diplomatru! Good to know that there are more applications now making it more difficult. :)

You can refer to the SS (Avg. processing time by VO) to learn this info.

Can someone plz guide on how to get another set of IELTS results to send to cic. On site, it says they'll not send additional reports to candidate or cic.
