If I remember right, you once mentioned that one of your reasons of immigrating to Canada is to get a citizenship and vote against the conservatives, right? Now I support you only for this stupid citizenship act.

I am glad that you do. This law created a second sort of Canadian citizens, which is completely at odds with the Charter of rights, Canadian economy (20% of nation are first generation immigrants) and common sense. I hope that Justin Trudeau will get rid of this disgrace when he becomes PM.

DONT TAKE IT WRONG - Law sees it as error by purpose - write a letter to your VO explaining oversight and a innocent mistake on ur part.. (Indicate specifically how serious you are to make Canada your next home)

This should not hamper ur file ; however I view this as a risk ~ So avert it with a letter to VO..


FYI - CANADIAN AND USA IMMIGRATION IS TRANSPARENT AND CIC ALREADY KNOWS ON UR REJECTION - THE GUYS ISSUING U A PER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH REJECTIONS OR DUI OR ETC.. ITS THE VO WHO DECIDES HOW TRUTHFUL U R

How long does it take for online ecas status for medicals updated after the day of test. my meds were done 8 days back. Doctor said everything is online so should be done within a week.

First of all, I got an email from the visa office that my application had been approved. Thank you for all the advice all the way along. However, from the following line the email, it seems that they are not going to ask for my passport, this does not sound right.

Your application has been approved and your COPR is being printed at our London office. You should receive this document via post shortly.

This is indeed very strange.

Specially because the text is vague and subject to interpretation... that's the worse. Things should be clear.
