Seniors, please give your thoughts on this.

I have received PER yesterday and I am the principal applicant. The Question is my wife's passport needs to have some corrections. Her Surname field is blank in passport and surname is added along with first name in the first name field of the passport. I have given same in the application forms, now I like to correct the passport. If I corrected the passport and send to the Visa office, will there be any issues ? Please let me know if any body has done this ?

As per current trend how many days it is taking to get the MR after receiving the PER ?

Take a judicious call, if you think you can get your wife's passport rectified within the time period you are expecting your MR, or even little more than that say +10 days, you still have a chance to rectify. Get it done and you may notify this to your local VO, once you receive your MR request along with any changed situation update.

While filing out the GENERIC APPLICAON FORM IMM 0008, in question no. 10, we have to mention the duration of residing in the country of residence. Now My question is that, We can easily write the date from which time we are residing but in the box TO , what date should be written ? Do I have to write the date on which my residency visa is getting expired ? Which will expire in 2015 ... Or which date ?

Yes, for now write that date on which your Visa is getting expired.

my visa office is london they send me mail about the docs needed to update my file for my newborn child.

they asked me to send the processing fee for child that is 150 CAD ...:

the draft will be in CAD and it will be payable in canada ....???? am i right ... it should not be payable in london ...???

DD should be in CAD payable to receivers general for Canada and send it with all the requested docs to LVO

Does anybody knows is it acceptable to send IELTS results via e-mail to CIO? I'm thinking maybe I should sent 2nd application before 1. January, but I can't get another IELTS certificate. Only option is sending results directly from organization where I took the test to CIO via e-mail. I'm 2nd September applicant (also I sent addendum on 29th September). Small chances for getting application back before January (if I am rejected, which I don't know). Also I sent inquary about my additional doc's (29thh September), but no answer till now.

Tell them the reason that, I am applyin for Canada Immigration.
They should provde you an additional copy.
However, if this is your second application, some people in forum say that , you no need to send original TRF again
Try your best to attach original TRF along with the application. If not possible, write a detailed letter to CIC that the reason, and menstion that you have already sent a original along with your previous application and attach a copy of TRF.

Thanks, but my application is not even charged, let alone PER! Although I have proof of delivery from FedEx, CIC emailed me two months after delivery saying that they don't have a record of my application. I emailed them back with a copy of proof of delivery 45 days ago, and never heard back from them. The telephone number is useless. Don't know what to do?

All you have to do is to wait. That is what almost all people are doing here. Keep on praying.

let's say if one person immigrated to Canada and got citizenship after 6years. in the mean time, he lost his original nationality because his original country doesn't acknowledge dual citizenship. if Canada revokes this guy's citizenship, then which country does this guy belong to? a person with no nationality?
