My Wife's passport was issued before she was married (with her father's name) and the validity is almost 5 years for both (mine and her's) passports.

But my name is not updated on her passport neither her's on mine.. and my consultant says that we need to get this added before the final visa application (i guess before RPRF), else the embassy would have concerns on issuing the visa.

Also, he stated that the couple's without a kid are normally called for an interview..

Any idea on this??

I think the Consultant have less knowledge and he is giving wrong information to you brother
Don't worry

If possible you can make new Passport if your current passport is expiring in coming months.
Otherwise there is no requirement.

And if couple's without a kid are called for an interview then all VO will get busy in taking interview
he is just giving false info.

Just to remind you of my application. My app was received dated 23 June and my payment mode was DD. Till date I have not received any PER/NER.

I just called the CIC number today and found out a 8 digit Client ID, with which I am unable to track the application. The agent over the phone told me that there are notes in your file that it has been returned on 3 Oct 2014. I asked if there is any specific reason mentioned on the file, but she said that the file which is sent contains a detailed explaination letter.

Request if you or any other senior member to advice the next steps and clarify below points

1) By when can I expect the file to reach New Delhi? It was returned from Canada on 3 Oct 2014.
2) My NOC is 0111 and the status on this is 238 Apps. Can I take a chance before Dec 2014?

In generic form you need to mention what you're doing at present, it has nothing to do with the NOC under which you're applying. For example, one can be unemployed or student at present, even though he/she has worked in past. It's asking what is current occupation of the applicant.

Where i am getting confused is in Economic Class form.

Your Work Experience section:

My Work position titles are not as per NOC, while job description and reference letters are as per NOC.

If i write Jr. Admin NOC 2172 Job description as per NOC 2172 (Reference letter showing job description)

is that ok ??????
