Dear Canada2319,

You are posting a question which you can simply check from CIC website. My question is how your husband even applied if you don't know the requirement? See below....

Employment requirements

A doctoral degree in the field of specialization is required for university professors.
A master's degree in the field of specialization is required for university lecturers.
Licences or professional certification may be required for professors teaching future practitioners in certain professionally regulated fields, such as medicine, engineering, architecture, psychology or law.

If it is not enough then go to this link.....

I have been informed by seniors that employment requirements are NOT taken into consideration for FSWP. Lead statements and duties are taken into consideration and that you have 67 points or more to be able to apply. I find your response a bit rude. If you have no intentions of helping others please don't answer queries.

Thank you for your help!!!

If all VOs ultimately issue PRs at roughly the same timeline like u say, by being slow or fast during partucular times of the year, then how to explain the fact that tens of applucants have already received PR from VOs like cpc-ottawa, kyiv, manilla etc?

Ottawa VO is major exception...as it deals with mostly US based applicants and they are already landed in Canada......everything in US is computerized and online and that's make the major difference. I think they don't need to wait for manual work, they do everything online and hence applicants are processed quite rapidly. universities are online, security agencies are online, employers are online......so mostly all background checking is done online, hence very quickly.

about other VOs u mentioned may be working on same or similar patterns. here in Asia the VOs and things are not on that levels and therefore the manual working costs us the precious time waste!

+1 dude for crossing 4000 and helping members. I am sure, it is the fastest 4000 for canadavisa. Your target: crossing 10000 ;D ;D

Century, I am still karmafied. Honestly I don't look at numbers. They just happen. :)
Addicted so much to this forum that sometimes seriously think of cutting down, but just doesn't happen. :)

Hi Raisa:

Employment Requirement section is not considered at all while assessing one's experience. So this section can be ignored totally.

Note: The “Employment Requirements” listed in the NOC description for each occupation are not
applicable. pg 12
