27th Aug application probably should be in CAP. Nobody knows the working of CIC though.
Hope your application sails through.

Yesterday there were lot of chances for my application to be in the cap but today a sudden increase of 301 application. I'm really losing hope... I don't know what is going on at CIC :( :(

Do u think in this case all documents should be translated into English or french?

Documents could be in English or in French, there is no problem if they are in both (mine were).

It is not mandatory, but you could choose a French-Language city as your destination (one that is not in Quebec) so your application is more consistent.

A lot of applicants have reported that their application was cleared and PER issued, inspite of 10th passing certificate missing in lieu of BC.
So Optimist is right in that sense.
I strongly feel that 10th passing certificate (including DOB) should be sent with affidavit to avoid any sleepless nights. That's my view though.

Congrats on your 4000 posts.

I have shared one email communication between two CIC employees who deal with our files, clarifying the same that Self affidavit is good enough if there is no BC or 10th passing.

The same has been confirmed by one our forum member "pssreddy". It is a formal email communication from CIC themselves clarifying what they require.

Of course, you are giving the safest option, which I admit is always good. If we have documents, why not send them....

Sorry, still karmafied :-[

well most of the files for university lecturer 'ld be returned...the only thing they are accepting is the lecturers who had 4 years of bachelor's degree and a masters degree of 2 years....due to this factor....most of the applicants 'ld only have a 3 years bachelor's degree which 'ld lead to disqualify ....so i think if ur husband has 4 years bachelor's degree with 18 years of education till masters' degree...he'ld qualify for sure...
best of wishes

Seniors can you verify if this is true? Feeling worried. My husband only has a 4 years bachelors degree. Our country doesn't ask for masters to be a lecturer or professor and he is a culinary arts professor or lecturer.

HELP!!!!

Dear Canada2319,

You are posting a question which you can simply check from CIC website. My question is how your husband even applied if you don't know the requirement? See below....

Employment requirements

A doctoral degree in the field of specialization is required for university professors.
A master's degree in the field of specialization is required for university lecturers.
Licences or professional certification may be required for professors teaching future practitioners in certain professionally regulated fields, such as medicine, engineering, architecture, psychology or law.

If it is not enough then go to this link.....

Translations for only foreign language docs need to be done through accredited translator and can be in either English or French, both are fine.

CIC must have taken a lot of future applications in consideration to reach CAP. Its just not possible that they suddenly recd so many applications for NOC 2171 and NOC 2173.
You should be OK with regards to CAP..

You can't say Quebec because FSW is not for Quebec, but there are many others.

I would go with Ottawa :)

"There are various urban and small centres in Canada outside of Quebec that have long-standing populations of French Canadians, going back to the late 19th century. Eastern and Northern Ontario have large populations of francophones in communities such as Ottawa, Cornwall, Hawkesbury, Sudbury, Welland, Timmins and Windsor. Many also pioneered the Canadian Prairies in the late 18th century, founding the towns of Saint Boniface, Manitoba and in Alberta's Peace Country, including the region of Grande Prairie."

WOW !!!! Thank you very much!!!!! I'd be the happiest man on earth if I received the Immigrant visa for birthday........

COME ON CIC!!!! Get the hint!!!!!

Thanks venkat!!!! +1 for you!!!!

If CIC email communication says that Self affidavit is ok in lieu of BC, then it is great news to a lot of worried applicants. Don't need further clarification in that case. Thanks Optimist for clarifying. Unfortunately I am karmafied too :(
This shows how often I give you +1 for your great contribution here. :)
