Dear Forumites,

Few of you, like me have had applications returned due to non-submission of birth certificates. Even though i had submitted self affidavits they have not accepted it for my spouse. Can anyone please give me an idea of what more to submit for birth confirmation with the new application i am filing in a different but related NOC?
I have read that some of you have submitted affidavits from a parent confirming birth details and name of parent. Can anyone please advise me on the format of such affidavit.

Dude,

Self affidavits are accepted. I have seen cases in the past and I just read the same in the link shared by one of our forum members. It might look silly but can you please confirm who has signed self affidavit of your wife? Are there any other reject reasons in your file? Can you please share the format of your affidavit?

It could be that even your affidavit was not accepted, but you had alternate documents for birth proof like 10th standard, etc. If you give more information, it will help us guide you better.

Thanks my friend!!!!!!! You definitely deserve tons of +1s !! Just as Islam1060 said, FLAWLESS SUPPORT!!!!!

Speaking of which..... why do you think CIC is playing Express Entry with us and only charging some specific NOCs????????

I was super happy when I saw a Aug 27th applicant cc charged but then I realized that only 2 NOCs had these privilege..... Why?????

What about my birthday gift from CIC???? I wanna have my cc charged on Nov 27th, it's my B-day!!!!!!!

COME ON CIC!!!!! :P :P

Need not worry about FSW14 ending abruptly and Express entry being made compulsory as long as revised ministerial instruction is not issued.
Yes, CIC is trying to CAP all hot NOCs currently. But the normal NOC charging is also happening simultaneously. I feel, if the hot NOCs are capped, then automatically regular NOC's process will also speed up as there will be no applications from these hot NOCs to cater to.
Expecting PER issuance timing to reduce considerably after this. Hopefully you get your CC/DD charged or PER issued on your birthday !! All the best for this !

Hey everyone. Thanks so much for sharing all the info. Quick question that has probably been answered before! But, Does the principal applicant also need to submit a copy of the birth certificate? I am applying under NOC 0113 as an unmarried single applicant with no dependents. Thanks

Even I have submitted affidavit without any school leaving certificate , so will it cause problem for my application?

No, they wont reject your file, as far as the facts of the recent past are to go by...... Hope your affidavit contains all the details like your full name, date of birth, father and mother name and date of birth.

Yes... we share the same feeling about PER issuance time....

Let's hope my super cold NOC (0013) be among the FIFO applications as CIC used to be working with!!!!

I really expect my cc to be charged by the end of this month.... It'd be great!!!!!

Thanks again!!
