yes, 2174 reach CAP more than one month ago.

Are You saying August applications also in CAP for 21173? Sorry, am trying to understand, my applcaition has reached on 28th July and my consultant send me an email saying (with CIC letter) it snot picked in CAP. Anyway i can check directly with CIC guys?

Definitely you are in the CAP if you don't make any blunder in your application. Check with your consultant thoroughly about the letter he provided. Don't blindly trust these people. If he presents you any paper take a picture/scan and submit it in the forum so that we can understand and can comment on it.

I saw your below post and wanted to know some details my application was reached CIC on 28th July under 2174 NOC code and 2 days back (on 10/11/2014) I received a letter ( from CIC > CONSULTANT > ME) saying my application has not got into CAP. But when i checked the google docs, it should be in cap. Do you think was there any miscommuncation or any other? Appreciate your quick reply and help. Thanks

Just wanna share this for 2173 - August applicants (to give hope and inspiration)...


I was able to talk with a fellow Pinoy in FB group and he has same experience as mine. He was a 2174 - June 20 (DD mode) applicant. When 2174 reached 1000 capacity, he got worried because last charging was June 19 and he didn't know the status of his application if included in the 1000 cap. After 2 weeks, he emailed LVO (Manila - VO) to inquire about his status and had known that his application is already In-Transit to the Visa Office. Also, he got his UCI number.

As per conversation with him, the update for 2174 (Oct 10 - with June 19 as last charged date) even reached the date of July 4 applicants. This means that August applicants has hope for PER as long as no problems with the documents.

I am an Aug 13 and the last charge date for 2173 is Aug 12. I hope this helps to all 2173 who's like me a worried pal. Smiley Wink Cheesy Grin Tongue

For case specific query, you need to e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry[at]cic.gc.ca . Mention your full name and date of birth, receive date etc.
Via Phone
Getting in touch on the phone:
1. Call at – 0016139444000
2. Select 1 for English
3. Then 1 for foreign affair
4. 2 for immigration
5. Call is being transferred to CIC
6. Then 1 for English
7. 2 for status
8. 1 for PR

If you don’t have a UCI and want to obtain it :
1. When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
2. Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

If you already have a UCI and want to check the status:
1. In last IVR system ask you to enter your UCI
2. Once you enter your UCI,
3. If system directs you directly to agent without any announcement it’s means your payment is not Encashed yet
4. If after entering your UCI, you listen the announcement like ” your application has received on xxx day” it’s means you have been charged now wait for the PER

Still not yet encashed or PER. Please experts could u pls give any prediction ? According to SS CIC mostly Charging from CC and 2171 and 2173 and also sometimes other NOC. So, what about us ? Anxiously awaiting.

I'm also a 1123 applicant. Don't lose hope!!! for what I've seen it takes longer for applications with DD to be processed

Just got my PER in my mailbox.

I am a July 18 applicant under category 2171. My DD was encashed on November 4 according to the review.

I am using a different name in the spreadsheet and will update my record later.
