Hello,

I have seen so many people getting rejected just for their silly mistakes. It's actually very horrible. After so much of your hard work and time you are getting rejected for your little silly mistakes. Watch the video link from CIC below.....

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/multimedia/video/complete-application/complete-application.asp

Just 2/3 pages earlier i saw one person has reported rejection because he/she didn't sign in one paper. And for the August applicants of NOC 2173 just stay cool & relax. You are in the cap. For September applicants of 2173, if my assumption is not wrong, the applicants of 1st & 2nd week of September are also in the cap.

Looks like you have some kind of crystall ball. Might I ask you what is prediction from 2171.

+1 for your positive attitude.

Hi Raisa Nazrana,

Are You saying August applications also in CAP for 21173? Sorry, am trying to understand, my applcaition has reached on 28th July and my consultant send me an email saying (with CIC letter) it snot picked in CAP. Anyway i can check directly with CIC guys?

If its for NOC 2173 then your consultant is wrong. We have seen in forum and spreadsheet that CC has been charged till 12th Aug.So how could this be possible. There might be any other reason of your file returned and could be due to some silly mistake from consultant side and he is trying to hide his mistake.

Dear Maverick,

Under the SGVO maximum applicants are Bangladeshi. And these Bangladeshi people are very much lazy in updating or atleast communicating. That's why you see only a handful of pages of All Bangladeshi applicants forum. I don't what is their problem. Once they get a good news they are done. I hope they come out from this and be enthusiastic about the forum & SS. Specially about SGVO. We really need to know what's going on at SGVO. And I really hope ASHIF_EEE bhai & CENTURY bhai can come up with something about it. Atleast to e-mail them or something.

Hello Brother,

Average processing time from PER to AOR is around 46 days. Some people reported that it takes 2 weeks to get transferred but actual AOR mail is arriving only atleast after a month. From AOR to processing status is around a week. After that MR is same day as Processing status or a week later (maximum). So tentatively, your AOR will come between 5th Nov - 20th Nov. Processing will start 27th Nov. MR/RPRF/Interview Request/PPR will be around 4th December. If everything goes fine with the above, you will get PPR in 30 days (maximum) 3rd/4th Jan but give some slack for holiday season. So you can expect to land in Canada by Jan end earliest.

All timelines are tentative as I don't work for the CIC. I have done this analysis from available entries in the SS. Information and actual dates may turn out to be very different from what I have quoted.

Regards,
Rick

May GOD Bless u.... and whatever u said come TRUE!!!!! ;) ;) ;) +1 for your Positiveness and Best of Luck Bro.....

Syed....

+1 to all those who are getting charged or getting PERs today.........others r following you.

Can't believe on this....check with CIC because we have 2173 13Aug applicant's CC charged.....can you share what reason they have given in 'CIC letter'? Did they specifically mention that its due to Cap?

Updates on my application:

NOC : 2174

Application Return Date: Nov 4th
Return Application Delivered On: Nov 10th (updated forms were missing)

New Package Sent again with Offer: Nov 12th
Expected Delivery of package: Nov 13th

Hope that i'll be considered under Arranged Employment Category with LMIA exemption (since I am on OWP in Toronto)

Are you sure you are eligible for LMIA exemption? Based on CIC's website, these are the only conditions where LMIA-exemption is valid.

- You currently work in Canada in a job that is exempt from the LMIA requirement under:

an international agreement (such as, the North American Free Trade Agreement) or a federal-provincial agreement.

-are working in Canada in a job that is exempt from a Labour Market Impact Assessment, but not under an international or federal-provincial agreement

Check the link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp?expand=arranged#arranged

I don't think an open work permit is a valid reason for LMIA exemption for FSW purpose. In fact, CIC news website notes that people with open work permits ARE subject to LMIA in order to apply for FSW. Here's the quote and link:

http://www.cicnews.com/2013/07/arranged-employment-work-072641.html

Who does require an LMO?

Foreign workers who have a job offer from a Canadian employer that is different from the employer indicated on their work permits;
Foreign workers who have work permits that were issued without an LMO due to exemptions other than those noted above, e.g. the Intra-Company Transfer category;
Foreign workers who have open work permits (not linked to any specific employer); and
Individuals who are authorized to work in Canada without a work permit, such as business visitors.

Found this information from net: One of the guy in similar situation, and what CIC wrote to him:
Friends,

FedEx told me "NO"
None of the courier service are ready, only option i could see is USA visa

Here you go with the information one of my friend found out on some website too :

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

If the Visa Office where your application is in process has requested you to submit your passport for visa issuance, you must submit your passport to the same Visa Office. No other Visa Office can issue the visa, nor can your passport be forwarded by one Visa Office to another.

We understand that, if you are currently in India and your application is process elsewhere, you will encounter difficulty trying to send your passport out of India. Since Indian law prohibits the sending of passports in and out of the country by mail or courier, you are advised to personally travel to the country where the Visa Office is situated in order to submit your passport, or to request a trusted person to carry your passport to that country on your behalf. Before choosing the latter option, however, it is essential to check with the Visa Office to find out whether they will accept passports submitted by a representative. If yes, you must provide authorization in writing to your representative to submit your passport on your behalf. You can complete and print the “Use of a Representative” form at this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/representative.asp. Please note that you may also be required to provide a mailing address in that country to which your passport can be returned after the visa is issued. We recommend that you check the Visa Office's website for complete information.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.
