Hello Seniors,

I am 29th May applicant and after a long wait, finally received the MR email on 8th Nov from NDVO requesting for further documents along with Medical. I would like to take your valuable feedback/suggestions on the below before i proceed ahead on the next steps :

1. Though i already submitted the original PCC's (both mine & wife) along with my application, i further got a request from NDVO stating "From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for yourself from India." Now what does that mean ? Did anyone else got the same request from NDVO even after submitting the PCCs already ?

2. My wife is expecting and the date given by the doctor is end of January. Do i need to intimate NDVO about this ? If yes, how this is going to impact the processing timelines ? or else we need to go with our medicals for the time being ?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Sachin

1. Yes one another mate reported PCC request even after submitting with original application. You should go ahead with that.

2. You should inform NDVO regarding the pregnancy of your wife. It is not advisable to get XRay done for your wife at this point of time as there is a risk of radiation exposure to the baby.

Inform vo about your situation they will give you extension for xray of your wife and also consult some doctor regarding xray.

Good luck

The one you provided was for France.

Here's the one for India

I know Canadian work culture that's why i don't agree with that......

Even I wish that it should not be true.

May be speed of work will be low in view of upcoming big festival.!

Hi All,

I dispatched my application on the 21st August , but still have not received any reply from CIC. Neither does the bank have any idea if the DD was en-cashed in Canada. Does anyone have any idea approximately how
much longer it would take for the CIC to reply back to me?

Any inputs are highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Vivek.

You are way ahead of yourselves.

CIC has not finished yet with July applications. You will have to wait for 2-3 weeks as of now (maybe more since your payment mode is DD).

For estimated timelines, please refer to the global spreadsheet.

Congratulations and Good Luck

+1 for sharing... please dont forget to update SS

one thing is really amazing and not understandable

when people apply for immigration...they know roughly it gona take one year at least.....since the day they decided to immigrate to the day they land.......it can go beyond that or can be less then that.....

so why people plan babies then? cant they just wait 12 months, get themselves there where they want and then have tons of babies.......since may 2014 I have seen countless posts where the people are waiting for PPR call and they arevalso awaiting good news!.......some are 4 months down......some are 6....some are on edge on 9th month!

I m not discouraging them, infact I warmly congrats them and wish them best of luck, but the point is.....wont this gona delay ur app if in case u plan to have the good news b4 landing? like again doing all the medicals, making all the paper work for baby and mother and for your self as well (like updating docs, e.t.c).......so what is it?....... like out of excitement and happiness that u gona immigrate to Canada u plan babies and in fact have them b4 even landing? what about having them after u land there?

just my opinion and views, not to discourage anyone and no offence.

After that... till 5th Jan 15, NDVO will be observing Christmas holidays.

Guys who know the Canadian work cutlure, will surely agree with this.

Hello Seniors and Friends,

This is the first time I am posting in this valuable forum.

After my application was received by CIC, I lost my father. Should I send the Background Declaration Form right away or should I wait till my package evaluation?

Thanks and regards.
