one thing is really amazing and not understandable

when people apply for immigration...they know roughly it gona take one year at least.....since the day they decided to immigrate to the day they land.......it can go beyond that or can be less then that.....

so why people plan babies then? cant they just wait 12 months, get themselves there where they want and then have tons of babies.......since may 2014 I have seen countless posts where the people are waiting for PPR call and they arevalso awaiting good news!.......some are 4 months down......some are 6....some are on edge on 9th month!

I m not discouraging them, infact I warmly congrats them and wish them best of luck, but the point is.....wont this gona delay ur app if in case u plan to have the good news b4 landing? like again doing all the medicals, making all the paper work for baby and mother and for your self as well (like updating docs, e.t.c).......so what is it?....... like out of excitement and happiness that u gona immigrate to Canada u plan babies and in fact have them b4 even landing? what about having them after u land there?

just my opinion and views, not to discourage anyone and no offence.

Frankly, what you've said is redundant, simply because the subject is a matter of choice between 2 people who are the best judge of their emotional and personal circumstances.

And even if you want to look at it 'practically' - I wouldn't want to hold on for something that 'can be' for something that is 'destined to be', given the time is right.

(Not that I am married).

Hi All,

I dispatched my application on the 21st August , but still have not received any reply from CIC. Neither does the bank have any idea if the DD was en-cashed in Canada. Does anyone have any idea approximately how
much longer it would take for the CIC to reply back to me?

Any inputs are highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Vivek.

If the file is accepted for processing a PER mail is sent in about 120 days time.

Good Luck

You need to write your name in English and print the form.

Once you have the print, you can use a ball-point pen to write your name in your native language just beside the one in English (leave some space).

Some more analysis (more to while away my time and provide for estimated dates that are not calculated in the sheet:

Average Time in Days (Singapore VO)
PER to AOR - 40 days
AOR to VO Processing Started - 46 days
VO Processing Started to MR - 13 days

Average Time in Days (All VO's)
PER to AOR - 28 days
AOR to VO Processing Started - 34 days
VO Processing Started to MR - 8 days

So approximately a month passes from PER to AOR, another month from AOR to Process Started but from Process Start to Medical is only a week or so. Wow!

Regards,
Rick

(From MR onwards, people lose interest completely and dont update the sheet at all.)

Hello all,

Experienced members (Ashif, Century, and other helping guys), please help!

My friend (2013 batch) has got Visa stamped for him and family (spouse + kid). In COPR letter, it is written that he has to inform if there is significant change in health of any member. Now, after the medical results, the infant went through minor surgery.

1) Should he inform VO about this? If he informs, the Visa might be cancelled and new set of medical exams may be in way, which may take approx. 6 months from this point to get new Visa.
2) If he doesn't notify VO, would that be okay? The surgery might leave scar on body (on stomach to be precise,), which was not mentioned in medical results. So are there any chances of case of misrepresentation when the baby might be examined in Canada in future?

Please give your views on this. Thanks in advance!

Hi All,
very urgent info required.

My Application got rejected.. I have not received my package yet(returned date 09/10/2014). I hope this is due to Birth certificate issue. I am planning to resubmit the application by next week... applied for IELTS TRF..
I don't have a Birth Certificate, will CIC accept my Secondary School Certificate which contains my father name???

Please let me know the acceptable substitutes for Birth certificate. Shall I wait till I receive my application to know the exact reason for rejection??
please guide me.

Thanks in advance..

Sorry for that dear, you can make a self affidavit highlighting DOB and parents name from SSC.

How did you come to know about your rejection with out package return ????

Hi

My application reached on 5th June, and I received PER on 21 Oct , However my friend's app was reached on 2nd june and he received PER on 25 sept, and He received MR on 7 or 8 Nov.. MR will depend on PER or application receiving date?

MR is not on FIFO basis. It completly depends on the amount of verification etc required to be done on the particular application and its complexities.

You ll hear good news soon Good Luck

If you are submitting Bank statements, you can submit copies. If you wish to submit a certificate from the Bank, it is recommended that you submit an original one as such documents can be re-issued upon request.

Hi ALL,
Need some help,

My friend wants to apply NOC 0711, which is not a HOT NOC. Current status is only 41.

But he could be able to dispatch the application only on Jan last Week.

Will it be OK. or they will simply not consider under this FSW 2014.

I am asking because, I read that in Govt Gazette it was mentioned that this FSW 2014 will last till 31.04.2015.

Also, I read in CIC News through web portal that "The FSW program will be accepting applications until January 1, 2015, or until the overall cap of 25,000 is reached."
