My friend is applying for fsw. But there seems to be a problem in his name
In passport his name is mentioned as Reji Varughese, but in educational certificate and in offer letters it is mentioned as Reji Varghese. 'U' is missing in surname.. do you think this create a problem???

Ask him to submit an affidavit for name change. I too had the similar issue and did the same and CIC accepted these documents.

Yes, it may create some problem, ask him to get it corrected from Passport officials. One of my friends name is XXXX(first name) YYYY(last name) and on passport it was XXXX(as last name) and YYYY(first name), but luckily he got PER.Now he is going to get it corrected from Passport Office by getting it renewed as it is going to expire.

Hello all, I have applied on july 3rd and haven't heard anything from them till now. I haven't attached any job referral letter' but I have attached offer, reliveing letter and payslip' bank statements and self affidavit.
And I worked in Dubai for 4 years 2007-2011, do I need to provide PCC from Dubai.

Some experts said mine may be rejected, if so how can I get my second ielts turf paper

I am planning to apply again for express entry

Bro I am sorry but there is no chance of getting the application through without submitting reference letter stating job duties from employer. Self declaration of jd is also not acceptable.

You should contact idp/bc for additional trf of ielts and apply asap, before that check the capping of your noc.

even my name in passport and education documents are little different. i have submitted affidavit mentioning the name difference.

I s/o of xxx aged residing at do hereby affirm and state on oath my name is xx as in passport number xxx. my name is mentioned in my educational , birth cert etc as xxx and all the above name belong to only one person and that is me xxx.

Then just try to relax.....Time have not elapsed yet.....if everything is fine give CIC some more time....They have not crossed normal processing time so far......

As per current speed and normal cases- they are now taking 30-40 days (ur report is on ur hand).....
