Yes earliest possible time for the first is mid of November but 100% by NOVEMBER end since this month has some national off days so!
And DHL they don't give signed PODs since they outsource their parcels for Sydney NS area to 3rd party so they say we are not accountable for the same don't worry write to DHL and ask them to give you certificate of delivery on their letterhead that will be enough for the purpose good luck

Thanks so much Big Brother.
Another question i have is I made a mistake on the settlement fund section.
Assets = included only things i had, forgot to include my bank balance too, liability = 0, but in total beneath (added pension and bank balance) which was more than CAD11000 written there with pension proof and bank statements.
Do u think i wld have hiccups with six selection factor later?

Hi Friends,

Just a general suggestion, I am going through with minor cough and cold. So shall I wait for 2-3 before medical so that I should be fully fit OR minor cough & cold shouldn't be a problem.

I believe minor cough & cold shouldn't be problem in MR :), but lil concerned since its a life changing event for us. ::)

Looking for your suggestion. PLEASE SUGGEST.

Thanks

I hope you have enough time. Get fit and then appear for the Medicals. Minor Cold/Cough doesn't make an issue though.

As an MBBS I would suggest wait since the minor cough and could raises some parameters of body as a normal body reaction, like your fighting agents so that may lead to retest since these fighting agents are prevalent and cause of concern in communicable diseases, wait for a week I say good luck

Dear senior

Any idea what would be the possibility of caps for october applicants under code3012 .present update is 469.i m really v.nervous.

My BP suddenly went up to 150/105 when I took the exam (was always, as I knew, in the 135/90 range). The hospital referred me to a cardiologist, completed ECG and ultrasound. Everything turned out to be normal. Urine test turned out to be normal as well. Still waiting for the result of serum creatinine right now - is this something of concern? I do not have known history of high blood pressure and am not on medication/treatment for it.

FYI (Service standard for applications under Federal Skilled Workers Program)

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/service-standards/fsw.asp

CIC's goal is to process all applications we get as of June 26, 2010, under the Federal Skilled Worker Program within 12 months. In order to process an application, we must have all information and supporting documents.

This service standard was implemented in September 2011.

CIC aims to meet the service standard 80 percent of the time.

From April 2012 to March 2013, CIC met the service standard 62 percent of the time. A backlog of applications has played a part in CIC not meeting this service standard.

Federal Skilled Workers production efforts are being concentrated in reducing older inventories in order to meet the Department's backlog reduction commitments and prepare for the transition into a new recruitment model known as "Express Entry" in 2015. Throughout fiscal year 2012-13, the Federal Skilled Worker inventory was reduced by 50% from 152,000 persons to 76,000 persons. The entire Federal Skilled Worker backlog is anticipated to be processed to completion by December 2014. Consequently, processing times in fiscal year 2013-14 will increase as older files are finalized.

However as a result of the backlog reduction efforts, applications to be received in 2014 are anticipated to be processed within the 12 month service standard.
