Hello,

I have a query and would appreciate help from anyone reading, I have a confusion about the NOC's:

The confusion is, I have 10 years of experience in the IT industry, and this makes me eligible for the additional experience points without which I don't qualify for the 67 point criteria. My question is, is the experience based on the NOC you apply for, as I have 2 years experience in DB which makes me qualify for the NOC 2172 but majority of my work has been related to NOC 2173/2174.

My question is does 6+ years for points apply to a specific NOC or does it apply to total experience and even if I references for 2 years for NOC 2172 do I still get the points for overall experience and qualify for 2172?

I don't know if my question is clear or confusing others, like I said I am confused. :P

Thanks in advance for your replies, I highly appreciate it.

Regards

Is there a way to cancel a DD which is with CIC and not yet encashed?
Is it wise to do so and would it affect my 1st application which has already got per today.

My 1st app with CIC has got per, 2nd one was with DD

Approach your bank and give them a cancellation request for the DD. You may have to give undertaking as original DD is not returned back to bank. Every bank has a little different rules regarding this.

This will not affect PER1

Once DD is processed you can't cancel it, anyhow the recipient has to release the DD by signing on it's back for sender to enchash/cancel it.

Apply under 2172
And produce job duties of everything

You gonna get full points

Make sure each job exp matches their list of duties :)

Guys, my CC is charged today. Please let me know what are the stages further.
Also, I see people using terminologies - PER, MR, VO, NDVO. Can someone please explain what are these?

You will get points for entire work experience and not just the 2 years of NOC 2172.
But you need to furnish complete and correct employment ref letters for the same.

If I were you, I would resend. Don't lose time.
