Hello guys, one question for you guys...

1. Eca should be done only on the highest qualification or on all the degrees ( bachelor's, MS and PhD )?

As far as i understood going through the CIC website, it has to be done for all the degrees.

Good to see things are going well on this forum. Wanted to alert you on a bogus call I received.
I received a call from 8882422100 number today. The person said he was from CIC department and wanted to verify my information. He already had my name, email ID, phone number and asked if I was already in Canada or planning to move there soon. He did not know that my PR has already been processed and inquired if I received any recent communication from CIC. I was suspicious and asked him to confirm my UCI number to assure me if he was really from CIC at which he disconnected the call.
I googled this number and found it to be a bogus call. These people claim to be from CIC and ask to deposit some fees in the name of CIC. Beware of such calls or emails.

+1 for sharing the info, you know what? this is making me think as if there's either a mole in CIC or around us in real life who is giving info to the fraudsters since after all who would know we have applied for immigration?....... guys shed some light on this so we all are safe!?

Hi GS123, did you share your mobile number with anyone, who knows that you have applied for a Canadian PR? DMy guess it would be one of them, else as CanadianLov3 said, how can someone get a phone number of someone also knowing exactly you have applied for a PR...

Hello Forumites, I'm in a fix and need some assistance from you guys.

I have applied under the NOC 2281 for which i have a total experience of 5 Years (In two different firms). Application received date is August 27.
While waiting for my PER to arrive, I've got a good opportunity with another MNC for a more or less different kind of role and the Joining date there is Jan 13, 2015.

New Job profile is the closest to the same NOC 2281 but the Job responsibilities are just not matching with the ones in hrsdc website.
Now my question is that if I join the new company with a profile which does not match 2281, would I still be clearing the Eligibility Criteria? Would there be any problems I might face. If yes, what are the best possible solutions to still make it through.

As far as I know you should be good with your new job as CIC will evaluate your profile based on your previous experience (the one who have submitted) and not against your future job profile.
