Application received date: 21st May 2014.

Hi! Do I have to write to the FBI for fingerprint cards? Or Can I use the fingerprint cards in the Philippines issued at the police stations?

ren21 - If you haven't done so, please, please send in your FBI application as soon as you can.

You need to use the FD-258 form/card: http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks/fd-258-1

I have heard some people go to fingerprinting agencies that have these cards. They order them from the US and do the fingerprinting for you.

In the worst case you can print the form out and do your fingerprints. Please ensure you send multiple prints/cards in case one or more cards rejected because they are not clear.

Just wondering if we can claim work experience points if we have valid exp under two noc.. Like my main noc is 0111 and my prior experience is under noc 1114... Would I be still awarded points for both or just for experience under NOC 0111?

I have applied to CPC-O and I have received my PER on sept,23rd.

I have noticed this vague movement of PR prcessing at CPC-O.

intitially they have issued MR requests and VISA pretty fast.

There are no new MR's or RPRF requests from CPC-O for last 20 days. Where as NDVO come to full swing to issue MR's and RPRFs....!

anybody has any idea, why it is happening? How do they work internally?

YES you will be granted points for each completed year in Profession which are in NOC list A,O and B.....

At the time of Passport request , do we have to hold a passport with minimum 12 months validity ?

How much time it would take If I apply fo a new one ?

My new passport number will be the same as in old one ?

Go ahead and renew. Your passport will have a new number which you will need to report to your local VO. How much time it will take to renew depends on your country.

Points in selection factors is a separate requirement from the minimum requirement of having at least one year of work experience in one of the NOCs. So you get points for number of years of experience regardless of the NOCs it is in.
