I am new to US and I noticed that here Indian consulate General taking applications for PCC, not like Australia where VFS take applications. is there VFS in US? can anyone share experience of PCC of india from Nevad, I think I need to apply on http://www.cgisf.org/page/display/143/236. is it correct direction?

Dude!! I guess you are missing a point here. This forum is to give a sense of what's happening in CIC by collecting and updating data on a spreadsheet. Without people coming and updating their statuses we would not know exactly what happening. When you come and ask, when will my app be charged, how do you think members are able to give you a clue?

And what is the motivation for them to come and update? Congratulating is the basic thing we should give back. That feels so good and lifts spirits up..... What if they PM Ashif bhai or century bhai??

I am back with one more question. This one is slightly tricky :

In my passport, family name/surname is blank and given name is Amardeep Singh. When I am filling the immigration form, I have to compulsorily fill the family name section. What do you recommend me doing here ?

Should I write family name as Singh and Given name as Amardeep.

No you do not put Singh as Sir Name. Seniors will help wait for reply, there are few people had same issue. search on google. But you do not enter Singh as sir name otherwise you will have 2 names issue.... search forum....
