GUYS I HAVE RECEIVED PER ON 8/10/2014. NOW I AM THINKING OF UPDATING MY WIFE'S (PRINCIPAL APPLICANT) WITH CHANGED SURNAME , ADDRESS AND HUSBAND'S NAME

SENIORS PLEASE SUGGEST ME WHAT'S THE MOST APPROPRIATE TIME TO DO THAT AND WHAT IMPLICATION IT MAY HAVE ON MY APPLICATION...I MEAN WILL IT CAUSE ANY KIND OF DELAY OR SOMETHING

Hi guys

According to my understanding we have to fill Generic Form (IMM 0008) online and validate it. I tried to fill rest of the forms in soft copies as well and then take the print out but on some places, space was so less that I was allowed to write the full information.

Can I print out the forms (except IMM 0008) and then fill them in small writing with a pen?
Will CIC accept those hand filled forms?

Thanks in advance

Regards

I suggest to type rather than handwriting. Writing by hand some times mislead the characters look alike.

They may accept, but it is a bad idea because it won't be so neat and it will be more difficult for them to read. You don't want to make them angry with you.

You can download all the files, and all but one (travels I think) can be filled on the computer and saved.

Be on the safe side and fill them with your computer. Also, use proper capitalization, don't write everything in capital letters. Make things as neat as possible.

Thanks Optimist. +1.

Sundeep,
Just sit tight. Now that you got your PER, they have accepted what you sent. Why do you want to fix it when it is not broken.
Good Luck with the rest of the process.

They never communicate that by email, unless you send a query. Unfortunately, it's more than 30 days in practice.

Oh, that's bad. so the best i can expect is that if my application is not charged based on the charging time line on SS, i should send another application asap?
since waiting for 30 working days for their confirm seem extremely unwise if one wants to make in the cap.

Whats the point in sending without knowing what was wrong with the previous application. I would rather wait to see either a cap update or application return to send another application. Do you see any potential miss in your application which you are realizing now?

Thanks for the swift reply.
Can I add extra word document with each form containing information written in details as forms don't have enough space for some of the answers and have to write abbreviations? For e.g. there is not enough space for one of the designations ( Financial Analyst) I held in past, hence used abbreviation.

guys I need an urgent help .. I think Post Office guys might have messed up my application ..

as advised by some people here, I used Worldnetexpress to send my application.. (2 days faster estimate than DHL/ Fedex/ UPS)

I used a local Post Office for that .. I sent someone to post my application from PO and I confirmed with the guy there that I want to use Worldnetexpress .. he confirmed that he has used that ..

however, when I saw the receipt it looks like an Speed Post slip with a Speed post kind of tracking number (not a 10 digit worldnetexpress tracking id).. I can track it through IndiaPost website but not through worldnetexpree site..

my major concern is that for Speed Post I would have required to send it to regular mail address but thinking worldnetexpress, I have used Courier address..

where is everyone who recommended worldnetexpress to me

What mistake did you make on your application?

If on the new one you pay by credit card, you can just send a new, complete application with a Credit Card. If you first application succeeds, and you get PER, you can just call your CC and ask them to block CIC's charge.

That way you won't spend that much money and be on the safe side.

Yes you can. Just reference the complete, Word document on the CIC's forms.
