Dear forumties.....One of my friends is preparing to apply under NOC 2172.
But, he needs to clarify couple of things....so putting up these questions here:

* He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication. But CIC specified "A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science or in mathematics" is required. Would it be a problem, since he doesn't have a degree in computer science

Can still apply. If they have experience. I have a degree in computer science and I have experience in hr. I still got per. So it's fine

I am planning to try for express entry.
I got IELTS score of 7.5 ( S- 6.5 , W - 7.5 , L - 8, R - 9 )
I am worried because of low score in speaking.
I understand that Australia needs 7 in each band for skilled migration.
Do I need to improve my score for express entry ?
Please share your thoughts.

I was just reading Australia's requirements yesterday and there is a slight difference with your statement. 7 is the minimum IELTS score requiered in each band to obtain points, but, if you score 6 in each band you can still apply. Of course, without points for language it is very difficult to reach the minimum pass mark unless you have a job offer or you have work/study experience in Australia.

My score is similar to yours (S 6.5, L 8.5, R 7.0, W 7.0), so i face the same problem, but i still keep my hopes up for FSW.

Hi seniors, just a question

am i right that for returned applications, CIC will not send an email to explain the return?

if this is the case, it could be very possible that many applications that are not hearing back from CIC in regular time frame have been returned, just they don't know that yet.

seniors pls help explain this. because if it is like this, returned applications can hardly have a second chance to resend, as we know canada post regular mail can be very less reliable for international deliveries.

do you have address of CIC to send it. I am looking for it. Please share if anyone has address. my application was submitted by agent before. But is out of office as holiday in canada. and I want to send it to CIC straight today.

Yes, they sent an letter with dupplicate report saying that they have sent report to CIC. and when I paid money last week, they showed message that it will be completed and will be avaliable for ACIC online. and I think CIC has some online link to verify reports.
