Hi Guys,

I have a tricky situation here. I have just noticed a goof up :( :(
My 1st reference letter says, my exp is from 2009-2013(conveying my duties) but by mistake in the first para its written something like this --- was employed at XYZ from 09-2009- to 03-2014. By mistake it is 2014 which should be 2013.
and then in 2nd reference letter again, 03-2014 till date where it should be 03-2013.
Now i m not getting what to do, i have sent my joining letter of 2nd organization where it says that i am in it since 03-2013.
I am really scared as to how it will be perceived. Kindly give suggestions what can be done. I am august applicant.

Can seniors please reply to this :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

any ideas? Did anyone have a cc with same service of securing online transaction and got their cc charged without problem?
is it safer to submit additional payment form with dd this time. As my file is in cio for only 11 days??
Hi there
in India I also got in similar situation my file at cic in October and my bank informed me that due to RBI regulation we are going to replace your card with another card chip and password enabled
Then I called my bank's customer care they told me that it's will only effect your transactions at online merchant and cic is a govt organization it doesn't require any further 3d protection etc so you need not to worry about it your transaction ll be allowed by the bank
But I am not sure whether they ll do it or not

Hi xxxxxxxxxx

In order for Citizenship and Immigration Canada to process your application, they will need to review your evaluation report through using WES's online service. In order to allow CIC to access this service, you will need to order a duplicate report and select CIC as a recipient of your WES evaluation report.

If you are using the attached order form and want to pay by credit card, please fax the completed form to 416.972.9004.

Once it has been processed, an email notification for a payment request will be sent to you, you can then log into Check Status/Your Account: https://www.wes.org/appstatus/indexca.aspx and pay your balance by a credit card.

In order to expedite your order, we encourage you to pay by a credit card. Cheque payments will take longer to process and will delay your order.

Best regards,
WES Canada

I had received above email from WES on 30th Sep....But after doing FAX i have not received any mail to pay them fee for duplicate report.

Also sent emails to them but no answer.... :( :( :( :( :( :(

What can I do....

Please help

Call 'em. Other means communication don't work with WES.

How much will I have to pay for duplicate report for WES ECA Viewable electronically by CIC?

In fact WES sent me email with form in which 50.85$ are asked to pay but on its website it is not so....

They show 80+ dollars...

What to do?

Please share if anybody paid this?

I am by no means senior, but judging from other answers I'd say that mistake has a good chance to be overlooked.

Several other forumites reported having typos on their files or translation and they got their PER anyway.

If the forms you sent are correct, the CIO will probably understand it was a simple error and let it go. It sure doesn't look like a fraud.

Hi seniors, just a question

am i right that for returned applications, CIC will not send an email to explain the return?

if this is the case, it could be very possible that many applications that are not hearing back from CIC in regular time frame have been returned, just they don't know that yet.

seniors pls help explain this. because if it is like this, returned applications can hardly have a second chance to resend, as we know canada post regular mail can be very less reliable for international deliveries.

Speechless, finally long awaited PER email, has been received!! SS already updated

Dear forumties.....One of my friends is preparing to apply under NOC 2172.
But, he needs to clarify couple of things....so putting up these questions here:

* He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication. But CIC specified "A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science or in mathematics" is required. Would it be a problem, since he doesn't have a degree in computer science

I suggest sending an email to CIC right away. After about 6 weeks they will reply and let you know the status of your application.

Last year several applicants reported that CIC returned their applications but they never received them, i.e. they were lost in the mail or something like that. Then again, a May 12th applicant just got a PER, so you could be in line to get one too. Unfortunately nobody knows, which is why you need to contact CIC.

karanmarjara, did you try searchin your spam folder in your email?

When you've provided your credit card number to CIC, you'll absolutely have no problem in getting charged. CIC is an authorized merchant and they don't require any password unlike you perform online transactions for shopping online etc.

Please make sure you have enough limit on your CC. Inform bank via customer care that you are going to get charged and ask them to allow the transaction to happen. I myself called 5-6 times and asked customer care guys to make a note of the transaction details. Whenever I called them they used to refer the notes and always confirmed about the standing instructions. I understand that you might be following the forum about the charge dates so please ensure to inform them 10 days before your actual transaction happen.

Don't consider the CIC transaction as a normal transaction. Banks will always allow them but make sure if your credit limit has gone down, call them immediately and ask about the transaction details. They will hold all the critical information (like merchant details, location, amount, time of charge etc)...

Best of luck...
