hi century
the documents are translated and notarized by certified translator
the thing is I'm working in Canada and I asked my family in my home country to do this, and scanned those documents and sand to me, I printed them and submitted, that's why I'm saying I submitted printed photo copy, so this is a returning issue?

could be........... let seniors put more light on that........ as far as i understand once you translate something you need to send photocopy of Hindi one , original notarize translation and affidavit from translator ........... 8)

I have one doubt, the answer to which might brings cheers for a few, though it was a sad event for few of us.
But as soon as the caps start to fill, like in 2174 recently, should it not be a valid possibility that the time being taken to respond and issue PERs will reduce?
Means the cycle currently is around 90 - 110 days currently, should it not come down to 50 - 60 days?
as the Traffic will reduce significantly?
I hope it does...

it should come down ....... good news for us but sad news for 2174 :'(

For all those people who have difficulty in understanding/interpreting work "Optimism":

The positive psychologist Tal Ben-Shahar uses optimism to mean willingness to accept failure while remaining confident that success will follow, a positive attitude he contrasts with negative perfectionism. Perfectionism can be defined as a persistent compulsive drive toward unattainable goals and valuation based solely in terms of accomplishment. Perfectionists reject the realities and constraints of human ability. They cannot accept failures, delaying any ambitious and productive behavior in fear of failure again.

Thank you.

Hello Seniors ... greetings... I got my UCI on sept 8th so when can i expect the next thing from CIC as in status its showing only in process your application is received on so & so date.

Pls help..

It depends on which VO you selected.

Exactly...
The categories which are not moving very fast (like the Software Industry Related ones did) will get more approvals / denials and at a rapid pace according to what I understand...
Reduction in time matters a lot, it is hard to concentrate on other things, with this prolonged wait going on with no indications of positive / negative reply from the CIC...

I also have one more legitimate doubt, the DD that was sent with my application (15 days back), had the name 'Receiver General of Canada' instead of 'Receiver General for Canada'.
Am I in trouble ?

Logic is good. As the share of 2174 in the total apps is around 25% in the apps processed so far, we could see a speed up in the over all processing time. But, how much will it translate to for each NOC......... might be marginal. Lets observe this for the next few days.

Thanks Mr.Right. Appreciate it. I had this question/suggestion from many, that i should not talk reality and simply suggest people to be blinded to the facts around, be in fools paradise. So, for their sake.......

If they still have a problem, I will change my name to pragmatist :D

Check point 14, page 5 of Document checklist.

You need to provide Proof of Relationship, Proof of Residency, and Proof of Status.

Thanks Ashif

I appreciate your reply as usual :)

One more question....

Blood relative is sponsoring him which gives him 5 points in total;, so what essential documents are required from blood relative? And should all docs be notarized from Canada itself?

Thanks in advance
