You are absolutely correct as per Guide 7000 on CIC website... except that you need to send photocopy of the original one (which might not be in hindi)...

the documents are translated and notarized by certified translator
the thing is I'm working in Canada and I asked my family in my home country to do this, and scanned those documents and sand to me, I printed them and submitted, that's why I'm saying I submitted printed photo copy, so this is a returning issue?

Hello seniors... how much they are taking to take final decision on any application. My application was delivered on 20th May and i got UCI on 8th sept. Its showing its in process but how much more time i have to wait to get the final decision?

The categories which are not moving very fast (like the Software Industry Related ones did) will get more approvals / denials and at a rapid pace according to what I understand...
Reduction in time matters a lot, it is hard to concentrate on other things, with this prolonged wait going on with no indications of positive / negative reply from the CIC...

I also have one more legitimate doubt, the DD that was sent with my application (15 days back), had the name 'Receiver General of Canada' instead of 'Receiver General for Canada'.
Am I in trouble ?

Receiver General of Canada is accepted. So no worry.

depends how good links you have with ur visa office ;D just kidding it depend on the visa office which you mentioned on your generic form ... 8)

I'm feeling lucky that many of you gave replies on my issue, thank you so much.
so based on your feedback, I believe i need to send another whole application package with all the originals. btw, my NOC is2133, my first app was received 16/7/2014, do you think I can still make it with the second application given 2174 surprise? our ss estimation says 2174 will be accepted until September? but the reality says other ways. what do you think about 2133?
