I don't think you come across as a cold hearted person. You wouldn't be on this forum in that case. The very fact that you want to help people brings you to this forum and has made you a VIP member. If someone feels otherwise, their bad luck.
Hats off to you and to people like Ashif and Century.

I totally agree with you Canol, Really Hats off to all the seniors and who started this forum and to all who are continuously supporting others.

If I were paying our admisions fee with a credit card can it be in USD?

Which is better paying with a DD or paying with CC?

Should DD say amount in CAD even though account is in USD?

My husbands reference letters are in english and CIC asks for copies do these copies have to notarized, certified as true copies or simple copies are ok?

the certificate we´re using as proof of funds is under my name only and not my husbands which is main applicant is that a problem?

Thanks for all clarification. How ever, I will go through the document to check my eligibility.

I was wondering since I already have a Masters from Canada which equivalent to 18 years of education. However my undergraduate is from back home. Even in this case I need my undergraduate degree to be evaualted from WES as I will be claiming my educational points based on my MAsters from Canada.

Please share your experience

You need to review the Guide here to familiarize yourself more with the program: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp

To answer your questions:

1. Everyone must take a language exam, no exceptions. Most take IELTS but CELPIP is accepted as well.
2. Yes, you can get up to 10 points for adaptability.
3. You must submit your degree evaluation with your application. Read the Guide to see the requirements and find out which agencies can evaluate your degrees and how to get this done.

Also note that your "about a year" of experience in an eligible NOC must be MINIMUM of one year of full-time experience, during a time when you were not a full-time student, in order to be eligible.

Good luck.

If I were paying our admisions fee with a credit card can it be in USD? The card will be charged in CAD and your card company will convert to the currency of the card. Beware some companies don't give good exchange rates.

Which is better paying with a DD or paying with CC? DD is safer because there can be no issue if your card is lost or stolen or there is some transaction refusal.

Should DD say amount in CAD even though account is in USD? DD MUST be in CAD and drawn on a Canadian bank! Suggest international companies like Western Union.

My husbands reference letters are in english and CIC asks for copies do these copies have to notarized, certified as true copies or simple copies are ok? Just copies are fine.

the certificate we´re using as proof of funds is under my name only and not my husbands which is main applicant is that a problem? Yes, fine.

Normally it is ok to only evaluate your highest degree. And Canadian degrees need not be evaluated. So you should be ok.
