Hello Jaxon , are you 23 June applicant ? would you please update the SS ?

Hi

Yes, my profile isn't lying, I am indeed June 23rd applicant. And I have my entry corresponding to my app in the SS, however just in case you got deceived by that funny message, my CC hasn't been charged for the FSW app yet, it was charged only for the pizza order I placed, I hope this is clear enough! ;-) ;D :D :P

Hello to All,

I have a few questions:

1. My passport is in spanish and CIC asks for copy of passport do I have to translate the passport information or the copy in spanish will?
2. The same with my national ID card?
3. The bank certificate for proof of funds is in spanish, do I have to send a translated copy of the document?

Thanks!!!

As mentioned in the guide 7000

Translation of documents

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document.

Guys one question...My spouse recently finished schooling. How should we inform CIC. should it be my email or snail mail?

Please provide the email address and address to where it should be mailed!!

Jaxon's credit card is charged for his pizza ordered. It has nothing to do with his application at least for now. Hopefully from now one, people get charged with their CC's. I am praying for everyone for the good news to come....

Moreover, I assume CIC has prepared a big list of CC holders to be charged before leaving home.

Hello future_canadian,

Reagarding WES report, they sent me two copies of reports, are they both considered as original ?
They mentioned that my degree Canadian equivalency is Master's degree, so would I get 23 points ?

both reports are originals. Regarding masters equivalency, you will get 23 points but your grad also needs to be recognized by Wes.

Last time I did that about 4 years ago so I did expect that things would have changed, but @ alwaysonnet mentioned in his/her post that they still don't so I used his/her comment as the basis of my assumption! Good to hear that things have changed.

Yea, might not be available for his location yet. As Pizzahut had started accepting online orders for my location only recently, although they had been accepting it for major/larger cities from quite some time. So, Domino's might also have limited (online) service areas. But I guess now a days, people tend to use some third party food ordering services like TastyKhana/Justeat/Foodpanda, as they usually have some kind of discount offer running esp. during the current festive season.

On topic, CIC have been awfully quiet today. :-\

Actually, it's a funny story. I appeared for my IELTS back in 2009 (when I used to live in Mumbai), I scored 8 points. After living in London (and in an English speaking Country) for over 4 years, I thought I would manage to score 8.5 without any kind of prep so I decided to book test on earliest appointment available, which didn't allow me time to prepare for the test! I ended up with only 7.5 score, fortunately that was enough for the purpose of my application for FSW Program. This goes to show that some prep and practice is required before appearing for any test, however confident you are!

Well said Jaxon!!
