hello Seniors,

Please help me in filling the current occupation and intended occupation questions
my designation is software engineer and I am applying to 2172.

and what should I keep in assets and liabilities section as I dont have any properties on my name

1. put your current position/ profile name.. keep same for intended occupation.
2. its not mandatory to keep anything (Assets/ liabilities) there.. you should have enough "settlement funds".. that's it

need contact details of WES...I am not sure what they are doing...

I have already done my WES report back in June first week, now I need one more copy of my WES report to be sent to CGA (Certified General Accountant) for my membership purpose.... though I have one copy spare which was sent to me by WES while my initial application. but they need a report to be sent directly by WES.

so I applied to WES on Friday for another copy and requested them to send directly to CGA via next day delivery option.

To my surprise, when today I loggd in to WES site to track the delivery, they are saying my EVALUATION IS IN PROGRESS...

I cant understand once they have done the evaluation.... what they are evaluating now..... I want my report to reach to CGA as soon as possible...and this ppl are just taking their time....

when did u apply ?? instead of fswp u should have applied for CEC.. applying for a BOWP (bridging Open work permit) might extend the time on your time-bomb...

Did you write to them to find out about their processing times? What was your exact query for which you got the above reply?

Seems like CIC has changed the day to "Tuesday(s)" for the count updates.. next Monday is a public holiday (Thanks Giving) in Canada.. so the next update will be on a Tuesday again..

First of all a big HI!! to all the members of this forum. This forum is so FULL of info whew. Have been reading for hours now. Couldn't ask for more info.

Just need one quick reply from anyone who has experience in this, I have finished most of the important things like applying to WES, gathered all the relevant documents, now I have just two quick queries:

1) PCC: I am an Indian Citizen, working in South Africa for the past 9 months, my question, which PCC do I get? Indian (from Embassy in South Africa) OR South African PCC OR BOTH?
2) Work Experience: I have over 10 years of experience, which complicates things as per the "set format" of offer letters/contracts issued by companies in India/South Africa which do not specify things like No. of work hours per week, main responsibilities and duties in each position. Despite me requesting my previous companies. Is it okay if I write a letter in my application explaining why the above is not possible to be submitted?

NIDs do not apply to Indians.
