Just curious, what if the bank still declines the payment for some reason? Does the application get rejected?

So if by mistake ur bank declines your payment at 1st attempt n u get SMS alert for the same , you can call your bank n tell them to let it go in 2nd attempt ( which will be in couple of days )

The RPRF fee receipt acknowledge form prints name of the credit card holder on it, that was used for making payment.
Now, if you have paid fees using Spouse credit card, who is also a dependant on your application, Should you be mentioning Date of birth and UCI number of Spouse to match the name that automatically got printed, or Should you mention Principal Applicant UCI number and DOB..?

1 - Your package is first reviewed for completeness. If it's found complete, your payment is charged. Then it's reviewed for points and a notification for a successful PER is sent (if found eligible).

2 - You have to follow this up with your Bank. CIO will not send any notification, be it a Credit Card or Draft.

3 - Have you already applied under 2171 (if I understand correctly) ? If yes - then I am not sure why you're asking this question now, but you have to match your present and/or past duties and responsibilities with the ones mentioned under your chosen NOC. The designation that you hold or have held in the past has no bearing.

yes I have applied for 2171. Having a doubt i asked this question since i have a mixed job responsibilty i.e Job respoinibility matching to 2171 and Designation matching with 2173 also hence asked...but the closest match was 2171.Lets hope for the best

As reported by many cio make 3 attempts so keep you cell phone sticked to you and keep following with the bank guys. As suggested by @ Gsw bro stay tuned on the forum so you can know when 18 june cc charging started.

Regarding the settlement funds, are we allowed to withdraw the money from the bank or should it stay there during the whole process? thank you.

It is recommended that you keep atleast 80-85% funds intact, but there i no guidleines on this. It has been observed somtimes VO asks for 6 months bank statements.
